Well guys thought I would have a bash at Ulster Bank, got straight declined on credit score , oh well no more applications now for another 6-12 months just waiting for my MBNA to come through though and got to send bank statements to Tesco to see what comes of that, will keep ou updated. :rotfl:

hey mr p your back lol can you tell me something matey if i manage my mbna card for a year well and providing all my other credit accounts are fine too will i ever get a 0% deal or is that something i will have to wait untill my satisfied ccj and defaults drop off

also how many points does a application drop your score by i have 10 due to drop off next month

Your score is lowered roughly by 30 pts per search, hence my current score is.. -3, and MBNA will give you a good deal as things improve, goos limits too, so watch this space....

i was hoping that that would be the case i will defo wait for 9 months before i apply for anything elde the last time i was dry on applications i applied for 3 cards after 4 months no searches and got a mbna so in 9 months i should at least be i the 500's +

Just checked my Equifax file, got my first green blob off vanquis also noticed that Capquest who took over my skycard account and who I paid full and final payment to them in July have settled the accoount and backdated the default to 2006 weird or what. In the last 3 months gone from 5 defaults to only 3 showing as outstanding, trying to get companies to update as they have been paid off

how would i go about removing satisfied defaults off my file both from british gas i dont even recall having default notices from them!

Darcy, you could write to them saying you were never notified of defaults and see if they will take them off

i will try but when i spoke to them when i payed it off they did not seem bothered about playing ball but im thinking what have they got to gain by leaving them on my file if they have been paid in full

Didnot think that utilities reported to CRA's probably the only reason companies leave them on is so that they can screw up your credit file and rating:rolleyes:
