I don't think the default has been satisfied yet, no. Ulster Bank is a bank in Northern Ireland and owned by Royal Bank Of Scotland; as such they are not a "sub prime" lender.0

No, I got both my credit cards after the default. Ulster Bank refused me at first but I appealed with 3 months bank statements and I was accepted.0 -
cool that was lucky then i have never heard of them sometimes i really believe that they only issue a certain amout of products per day/week/month and if you apply for it at the right time you will get it or stand a better chanceyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0

When I applied for the Classic card they turned me down flat; they did not even offer me the £100 deposit card. So I appealed the decision to see if I could get accepted.0 -

I didn't realise that it had to be satisfied. I'll get onto that ASAP. Its weird because Ulster Bank gave me a 0% card on purchases. It then switched to the standard APR of 19.9% before they offered me a further 6 months of purchases at 9.9%.
The credit limit they gave me was £500 initially. 6 months later they upped it but to only £600 before increasing it to £1100 which is what it is now. I am now steadily paying it off by at least £100 a month - sometimes £150.0
