Maybe they had such an overwhelming response from people reading this thread that they are snowed under lol. Maybe they have one guy who deals with the sub prime card and he can't cope with the demand.

Oh well, they say the best things come to those who wait...we should start a wager to see who gets theirs first! I've got my pin, and a got the sales call for insurance etc but no bloody card!!

Well, my bank of Scotland card finally arrived today. That one took two weeks. I applied to MBNA who have offered me that £100 deposit one so I shall wait for my agreement and write out my cheque!!

    So excited :j

After much deliberation my final application for this 6 month period went to next - who said they would write to me. Given that my default from 2005 is from there (although satisfied) I think it is a no!!

Still 2 out of 3 ain't bad.....hangs head in shame at sounding like meatloaf :o

    Hellooba, whats they story then?
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.
  • It was a crazy no from mbna. called up lady said sorry but we cannot offer you...this but...(so patiently waiting to hear the words £100 deposit). she says please hold and after another 5 mins. The words am sorry cannot offer you a card at this time due to blah blah blah. Gutted
