hi all,
im a new user and wanted to say how useful this site has been, i have read all posts from 1 to 71. !!
i along with my husband went bankrupt in 2001, when the old rules were in! through disaster and not done in haste, it was our only option. we were discharged in 2006, and its been a nightmare!! creditors sold debts and these appeared as default in 2007 even though they actually defaulted in 2000!!
so when in dec 2006 the br was due to drop off our files we thought thats it we can start a fresh and put this really disstresing episode behind us. not true as the defaults then went on, so we still have four and half years to go till those drop off. we were lucky and were able to keep our home so we do have a mortgage reported to all 3 cras which we have had for 10 years, but no other credit. until after two years of trying to get a card we were both succesful with cap 1. £100 credit limit but we have had them for three months now and are due to have credit increase soon.
so what im trying to say is it can take years to recover but the feeling of elation when someone says yes is awsome even if its just for a penny!!! lol
exellent work to you all i just wish i had found you earlier!!
aqua card on its way now £250 limit!! so rebuilding is possible as they have all said big fat no for two years!!!
i will be popping in regularly , but wont write a long post again !! lolself confessed 80's throwback:D

Just a quick update to everyone, slightly off the subject but I have just resigned from my company I work for today as I have a new and slightly better paid job secured, feeling !!!! though cos I am leaving all of my mates behind and this is the first job I have held down for a while and it feels as though I have cut my insides out, is this normal?Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Yes perfectly your leaving your nest so to speak to head off into the unknown. You seem like a nice bloke and I'm sure after a few weeks in the new job these feelings will be a dim distant memory. Congratulations x0

Carolan is right, utterly normal. You're having separation anxiety. It will pass. Congratulations on your new job:)Fat, female and fabulous
