nice one mate, you get instant decision ?
No, first they do a quotation search which is an unrecorded enquiry on your Equifax file, then if you match one of their current markets they send it to an underwriter who calls you and ask you a few questions, then if you are approved you will get an email.
Now I can pay off my Monument and Capital One cards, and celebrate my birthday this week so looks like I am taking my Fianc! out for a propa Chinese meal followed by a few sessions in some Newcastle’s top night clubs!

They're complete grotbags. What annoyed me the most was because I'm now so anal about my credit reports, I always check them with a microscope. I had a report from June that showed the 3 account from 2005 and it said absolutely no money was outstanding. And then when Lowell decided to place this default on my file, they removed the original 3 account. Cheeky buggars!!

Anyway, I'm over it now lol

  • Hi Steven
Have you had any ccj defaults against you asking to see if in time i can improve my credit file i have countless defaults but got my vanquis Card :Dtoday been turned down by EVERYONE:eek: From now on i going to be very careful.:o

I have bankruptcy registered on both files along with two defaults, all due to drop off may this year.

So in time your score does improve.

Well done on getting you vanquis, what limit did you start on? Remember to pay the balance off every month, best way to deal with that card.
