Fair enough you'd be a bit annoyed if it happened to you as a genuine mistake, but to have sought it out as a potential profit then be so annoyed is taking it too far.
You got a refund so haven't lost out..but how on earth did you explain anting a refund on 6 bottles of champagne after arguing about the mis price..did you not feel a bit foolish and isn't it a tad obvious you were pushing your luck?
Wow your making so many assumptions here.
The store I went to is an average size store and I actually went in their with the intention of buying champagne for a wedding. I have not said if I knew the correct price before my purchase or not. As it happens there is no scanner in the store so I did not know the price it would scan at.
Did I notice the date? I have not said and even if I did i still did not know what price it would scan at. The fact is I was expecting to pay £13.99 a bottle..0 -

no, starlite, we don't have to agree with people if we genuinely don't. The sycophants don't run this forum even if they'd like us to to think they do. I for one will continue to post my opinion even if it doesn't go along with the masses because that's what free speech is all about. If a little criticism upsets posters then if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen.0 -

done out of the profit he specifically looked for and then worked so hard to get at somebody else's expense so better throw all toys out of the pram. Some of you people need to get a grip, you really do
Oh dear I think you need to get a grip where did i say I went looking for this mis price. You are really out of order. I just replied back to say i went out shopping for champagne for a wedding. You really should read the post correctly before being nasty.0 -
well a whole lot of your previous posts have been telling us how you specifically went looking for misprices (Cds, DVDs, food) around innumerable stores so there was a fair basis for assumption there. Just one example http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=987185#post9871850

its interesting
some are revelling in their own kudos through use of this policy, perhaps even 1 uk MSEer. some are touring branches of Tescos purchasing multiple units of items seemingly specifically for no other use than resale on ebay ?
kudos on ebay is accumulated due to their ebay feedback through their sales.
1 uk on ebay seller has many copies of razorlight, jem, dido, live aid, akon CDs
1 uk seller from Ringwood, Hampshire has aqquired much kudos through the sale of Tesco overcharge items.
kudos to that 1 uk MSEer on ebay from sales of many Tesco overcharge items it seems.
but where does commonsense end and even blatant abuse start ?0 -

On that basis, how would ANYONE know they'd been overcharged?

Hmmmmm if you only bought one item would you not remeber the shelf edge price? I dont think its that hard is it?
And the manager went and got the ticket and showed me the date.
Simple fact is no scanner in store and was happy to pay £13.99 for goods I needed.
If I had noticed the date and at the same time had my fingers crossed that's another matter and one I have not stated.
As i have said before I did NOT know what it would scan at..0
