Please help what does sel stand for.

I'm not a regular in here so don't take this as gospel but I'd hazard a guess at 'Shelf Edge Label'.

If the price advertised on the Shelf Edge (SEL) was the same as the price you paid, and there were no stickers on the product showing a lower price then you have not been overcharged. If there was a price showing anywhere else pertaining to that CD that was lower than you paid, then you were overcharged.

Are you calling me a woman of ill repute?!

Yes NT, though it's debated by scholers as to whether it is a genuine part of the original text of Johns gospel, anyway I digress.

I can honestly say I have never sold BiG on ebay.

As you well know that is not what I am saying or suggesting. What I am saying is its up to whoever to decide what to do with his / her goods. It's up to the individuals conscience to decide on what he/she should do.

Why would I suggest that you have sold BiG on EBAY, what I am pointing out is the reason why we all bought BiG is to make a profit from Tescos points, 3 * 65p = 195p point 150, equals 600 tokens equals £4.05 profit, often at the expense of others who could not buy several thousand pounds of the stuff, thus it was continually out of stock, (I bought a few maybe 90 but not car loads). Nobody would have bought them simply to give away, it was the profit incentive that made us all do it.

A profit from this is no different in my book than a profit from overcharge items sold via EBAY, although overcharge items are not going to adversly effect so many consumers. Also the BiG was also a much clearer case of being overboard on an offer, although in my view I have no objection to someone getting stacks of BiG either.

On the subject of number of items, my point is also clear, it matters not a hoot if it 2 or 3 items , or 10 or 20 items, a list is a list, I don't even use a list I just wander down the meat aisle, if the intention is there it's the same, just on a different scale.

!!!!!!, Jesus is talking about a woman of ill repute before he says those words. I just meant it as a light hearted way to end the debate. No need to be so touchy.

As for a list, I stopped searching out misprices a while ago due to personal conviction about it and just stuck to my normal shop. This yields enough misprices for an average £5 refund per shop.

You said it yourself, we bought BiG to profit from Tesco (and as I said before there was never a supply problem round here until the story was in the press). The overcharge profit on ebay is from other consumers. I don't like benefitting from other people's lack of knowledge. It's unfair IMO.

Can we agree to disagree on this one? I suspect though, if we reported this thread to the abuse team, an official comment would be put in saying that the site doesn't endorse selling the items on ebay.

That depends on how much you charge ? :rotfl: / Overcharge :rotfl:

We will agree to disagree about the matter, selling stuff on EBAY that is not whether your a woman of ill-repute ? ;)

You'd need to ask OH about my reputation and whether my charges are fair...

Sorry if I am being clueless but what is the point in going through all this hassle for a refund then throwing the product away.
Surely you end up with the same as you started out ?
