  • Just come back from my local tescos feeling rather silly. Bought pork shoulder joint for 2.79/kg sel said £2.29/kg, took it to cs lady said she would only refund what I paid. I even took her to see sel & show her there was another joint labelled up like mine amongst the ones tht were labelled up correct. Her reply was someone had put them in the wrong place as you could clearly see my joint was superior quality. RUBBISH there were no more shoulder joints any where, so I felt 1" high, especially as there were 3 people waiting to be served behind me (hope they had more luck than I did). Don't think I shall be trying that again!!!!
  • OOP'S forgot to say she wouldn't let me have the joint of pork

you should of kept the products and then rang head office up and they would of sent you a cheque
  • I have just rang head office & they sid its up to each individual store as to what there policy is & I was told that I could write in a letter of complaint.
  • Right please ignore my ignorance but do I have this right

If i go to tesco and buy something an then notice I have been overcharged. do i take the item to the customer service desk and ask for a refund or what?

Or do I get a refund and get to keep the product?

what if they dont let you keep the product?

once you have been over charged, go to the cs desk, tell them you have been over charged, they will then get the ticket off the shelf and give you a refund, you get a refund for the full amount! and get to keep the product, hope that helps you, do not accept the difference, you are entitled to a FULL refund.
