Ben500 I do agree with you that Tesco are the ones at fault here.
I pointed out to OH last night that the ebay seller had a strange list of solely Tesco overprices. OH pointed out how much Martin discourages this sort of behaviour as an individual is making a profit at the expense of other consumers.
So maybe the selling of products on ebay, whilst pointing out the error of Tesco's mispricing, does no favours for the integrity of Martin and his site.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Hi All,
After reading the comments on this thread I thought I would give this a go at my local tesco's.. After carefully checking all the labels I found some Pork chops that appeared to be incorrectly priced. The SEL stated £5.06kg the pack stated £6.06kg. Bingo, I put to packs in my trolley and carried on with my shopping but something came over me and I couldn't go through with it, I became hot and started to sweat, I felt like a criminal before I even got to the checkout... I bottled out and put the chops back!!! Better luck next time eh??
Regards
P.S. My local tesco is Bristol Bradley Stoke if anyone wants some Pork Chops!!0 -

That is £10 per kg overcharge they dont mess about do they
Found one today that is not that far removed from above. Finest Parmesan BIG SEL down to £13.08kg unfortunately not on the cheese which are still priced at £17.08kg a whopping £4 per kg overgharge. This was in both my local stores and another that I asked OH to check.
Obviously the slogan 'EVERY LITTLE HELPS' must refer to the profits for shareholders. Will post on misprice thread.0 -
Does this price policy apply in the smaller off-shoots such as Tesco Express? My local one doesn't have a customer services area so I wasn't sure if it would be possible.Quidco ~ £3,718 | Greasypalm ~ £354 | Freefivers ~ £45 | Pigsback ~ £260 shopping vouchers + 15 CDs
Total cashback / freebies / money-saving: 2006 ~ £3,961 | 2007 ~ 3,610 | 2008 ~ £4,159 | 2009 ~ £1,449

hi Tony,
the seller was called ****** and they had multiple DVDs of live aid and Allie MacBeal, and lots of Jem Cds and loads of all the other ones that were on the list :rotfl: anyone who wants to do a search could look for one of the overcharged cds limiting themselves to the area of ringwood hampshire
hi Ben,
i didn;t make a judgement. i just asked is it in the spirit of the thingbut Im new so what do I know
but I just wonder, if some people are going round loads of stores, buying like 10 cds in one go, then i suppose the people in Tescos are going to get mad and go out of there way to remove every wrong of the labels in that store so nobody else, or no regulars at that store get a chance to have a try
so i suppose if somebody is doing this and then selling them all on ebay, its a bit serious and not giving everybody a chance to join in the fun ?
i read your post and if you say if somebody gets fifteen overcharges at a store, what does it say about the store, i guess it says more about the customrer because in a way they were not genuinley overcharge, they really knew in the first place (armed with all the great info on this site) and were going looking for them in the first place
i hope i don't upset you, i'm just being honest, but we are lucky to get this perk and it's not like they owe us it, is itits just a bit of fun really isnt it ?

You haven't upset me with your comments at all, there are many different kinds of people that frequent all forums, some looking for help and advice, some social interaction, some are seeking stock to resell, some desperately need to find a way of adapting their budget, some are principled some aren't, I view r&r as a tool with which to encourage Tesco to reverse the institutional complacency within its management circle with respect to the millions of pounds they fleece from unsuspecting loyal customers, I don't care what they do with the goods they aquire, give them away as gifts, jump up and down on them wearing a frilly tutu or sell them on ebay, I am just happy that they have stood in store and made the statement "I know you ripped me off what are you going to do about it before I come in next?" which is basically the message they Tesco should be getting from each and every instance, if people had any idea just how many products are actually overpriced in an average store they'd probably start shoplifting for revenge, the items you see on this thread don't even represent one half of one percent of the actual instances, all you see here are the obvious sitting ducks and the infrequent item noticed by more educated shoppers who now check their receipts and are generally astonished at how often they get ripped off at the till. Does anyone think Tesco are not aware of just how many items they overcharge on on a daily basis, you bet they are! were they doing anything about it prior to these threads, NO, why? because overcharging is profitable! Company policy is to refund and replace but if stores can duck out of it and not get complaints, why should Tesco shoot themselves in the foot and get things right and a corresponding drop in profit as a result, the corporate attitude prior to these threads ensured that overpricing has become epidemic within Tesco, Complacency is as much a signal of consent as a nod and a wink in any language!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
