Absolutely correct.
Duty manager was given in-front of me a good old ear-bashing from HQ, I could see the smirk just drain away from his face, while my smirk worked in an equal but opposite direction. Best option is to call directly from CS desk or get CS person to do it for you, giving the number off the top of your head 0800 505555.Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

Just save the hassle and tell them to dial 55555 (whoops thats corporate switchboard).. 1086 internally :PYes, I work for Mr T, but anything I say is not given as an official response or representation from Mr T, and is usually best taken with a pinch of salt, lightly toasted and served with a chardonnay or rose wine. LOL I never was trying to put anyone off from calling!
In my personal and direct experience of working for CSD for 2.5 years, and being able to read internal logged complaints, 9/10 it is the standard template letter that gets sent back to customers (I even have the template somewhere in my documents lol) saying about how they apologise for a one off incident.
I'm not saying HO cant do anything, but they certainly dont give us a dressing down like people think they do - they'll ring and say "Ive offered Mrs X a refund, would you complete it for us?" and thats it.
I can even recall on numerous occasions having to correct HO too! (like a recent argument that ESSO/Tesco sites DO NOT give points on fuel!)Yes, I work for Mr T, but anything I say is not given as an official response or representation from Mr T, and is usually best taken with a pinch of salt, lightly toasted and served with a chardonnay or rose wine. I can certainly say I have a letter in my possession that is far from standard of that I can assure you, and I can also assure you that the person in question has had a recent attitude transplant, as a result of the said letter and HQ giving the person a severe going over. :rotfl: :beer:Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
