  • Got my 1st misprice yesterday although not the wrongly priced type. I bought 2 packs of paracetamol - one ordinary and the other paracetamol + but the girl on the checkout put them through as 2x the more expensive one despite being different shaped boxes.

I expected 48p back which is the price of one para + as opposed to the proper price of 24p I should have been charged but got back the 96p I was charged for both. Not a huge amount but better than nowt!

    Rochdale.
Prices for coca cola are indeed 2 for 2.25, but price goes through correct today.
Got another two PS2 Mercenaries with the sticker 13.97 and scan 19.99.
CS was not happy at all, and was grumbling to her colleague about how it was the fault of the entertainment department and there was gonna be trouble if they were giving away all these games! (i think she assumed the rest were misprice too, but they're not - they're 13.97).
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • British Beef Topside/Toprump Joint on special offer at the moment
big SEL stating offer of £5.19 £/kg
Some correctly priced at £5.19 £/kg but lots priced at £5.59 £/kg - all have label of ‘Special buy save 79p /kg’
Took a while to get c/s to understand that I had been overcharged by 40p/kg.
  • Dont know if this is a local mistake but Tesco's - Kilmarnock have own brand frozen beef in gravy Price marked @79p with a SEL of 75p , scans at 79p. I would have bought some but to be honest im pretty sick of beef in gravy now

  • Tesco Value Plastic Knives were in the discontinued section in Honiton marked at 23p. I was happy with this price and bought 3 packs, but was charged 46p for each. Refunded £1.38 with no problems.

:j I've just got my 2nd free mobile. :j This time the Samsung D500 @ £169.99, :j This mobile is on the leaflet as £169.99 then £149.99 with a £40 shop. The CS tried to say it wasn't applicable as a R&R since it was a discount rather than a wrongly priced item. The manager came over and said he knew nothing about the R&R policy!!!!Don't worry say's I , I'll show you your poster. There is a leaflet in the store with some of the mobiles showing the reduced prices so and those should be the easier to argue if anyone has a problem. Also got the Mercanaries PS2 game and the Bruce Springfield CD so thanks to whoever originally posted those. The other misprices had been crossed out on the poster. Good shop today £270 with £200 refunded :j

This offer on the mobiles is on until December and you can get a refund on any mobile within 28 days so it is worth a try. Just make sure you put the mobile through first and then the rest of your shopping so the cashier 'forgets' to put the offer on.

Just thought, anyone trying this offer should put the mobile through first before all your other shopping that way the cashier may not remember to put the £20 discount through. Hope someone else gets the deal, there is also another mobile for £169.99 but I wanted the V3.
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

Just found an old receipt and noticed that I was overcharged.... (6 November)

I'd bought some (Grey) Striped Jersey Long Pants (Pyjama bottoms) as they were reduced from £5 to £2.50. (a NOW £2.50 sticker on the back)

Looking on my receipt I can't see then, but instead "Black pant" for £5.

I know I didn't buy anything else as I bought some sock to take my clothes spend over £10 (for 250 clubcard points off a till spit coupon).

Looks like another trip to Tesco. Had a Kasabian R&R on Saturday and the wrong price was out again today. If it's there tomorrow I shall clear the shelf and teach them a lesson.
  • huggies 3 in 1 pack - big sticker on the front saying £2.49 - when i took it to the till i was chgarged £3.37. Thought i'd have a look at the rest of them before i got my refund as i alwalys need wipes! Noticed that some had an extra sticker on the back - mine didn't so i think it went through as a normal big pack without the travel case. I wonder if they would go through BOGOF as well if that's the case?!

    Hope this helps someone!
  • PS Mercenaries stickered £13.97 and charged £19.97 - Tesco Atherton. First misprice ever!!!. Panic at CS and I think heads were rolling even before I left shop. Must be their first one ever. No probs with refund etc
