I was in a different store today and got 4 more packs of bacon though they tried to give me the difference back until i told them they should refund me and give them to me free. They did try to say it was a different pack size and had to call someone who they couldn't get hold of so in the end she said to her mate oh i'll just go ahead and do it anyway.
But i did notice i bought 2 bottles of Sunny D which i am sure were BOGOF but it hasn't taken the BOGOF.I did buy 2 different types though i'm sure this shouldn't make a difference.I'll have to go check my local out and if it's the case then take the reciept back and show them.Darren0 -

Whilst waiting to make my first returns (Kasabian and Pop Jr CDs) the lady in front of me appeared to be getting a refund for a Tesco Shredder with bin. Not sure about this, but seemed to be.0

Huge thanks to Carolannjo!
Checked this thread last night before I went to Tesco, and I've never used this policy before.
I wasn't brave enough to ask for free products when its only a few pence but I bought the Mercenaries game and I was overcharged £6.
The CS woman was fine, just gave me a refund and handed the game back to me.She didn't even explain that I got it free, she must be so used to people doing this.
So a free game worth £14!0 -
Just thought, anyone trying this offer should put the mobile through first before all your other shopping that way the cashier may not remember to put the £20 discount through. Hope someone else gets the deal, there is also another mobile for £169.99 but I wanted the V3.Joto wrote::j I've just got a refund on the Motorola V3 - £139.99. The offer of £20 off any Tesco Mobile mobile when you spend £40 or more in store didn't come off. The CS argued that it was £20 off your bill rather than the mobile so only offered the £20 to begin with. I then argued that whether it was off my bill or mobile then I had still paid £20 more than I was expecting..........and if she prefered to refund ALL the items on my receipt I didn't really mind.:j
Apparently the cashier has to key in a code for the £20 reduction so look for someone who isn't quite with it and you may be lucky.
I also got the Kasbian CD and the cashier tried to argue the poster was only a guide price  before checking with the manager and refunding.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
Got The PS2 game - The Mercenaries - stickered at £13.97 and SEL/Scan @ £19.97. Plus four packs of Finest Bacon - most is SEL £2.48 now but the unsmoked drycure was still SEL £2.06. Full R&R after I pointed out the policy - I think I was going to be offered a refund otherwise.
A lady in front seemed to be getting R&R on coffee - I think it was the smaller Cafe Direct jars but I have no more details.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
