Kate Bush - the whole story, SEL 8.97, scan and sticker 9.77
And another two john legends :D
also a two kasabian and a katherine Jenkins.
CS didn't cross thru receipt either on one of the KJ and Kasabian, so i'll pop back tomorrow for a full return :rotfl:
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • went for a trip to Ayr today so i decided to nip to the Tesco Extra and see what i could find.
Got the Kasabian 7.97 (poster 5.97)
    Katherine Jenkins 9.77 (poster 7.97)
    pop jnr 10.97 (poster 10.77)
    ult karaoke 9.77 (sel 9.87)
    mercenarier ps2 19.97 (sticker 13.97)

    total shop 65.00
    refund 58.45
total spend 6.55 not bad for a 65.00 shop

Got The PS2 game - The Mercenaries - stickered at £13.97 and SEL/Scan @ £19.97. Plus four packs of Finest Bacon - most is SEL £2.48 now but the unsmoked drycure was still SEL £2.06. Full R&R after I pointed out the policy - I think I was going to be offered a refund otherwise.

A lady in front seemed to be getting R&R on coffee - I think it was the smaller Cafe Direct jars but I have no more details.

There was an offer on these coffees that expired on 8th - it was buy 2 for £4 so maybe she got lucky and visited a store that hadnt removed the offer from the SEL

I got Double Gloucester cheese x 2 today, and 1 pack of finest hickory smoked bacon refunded.
  • apologies if this one has been spotted before, however in my local tesco's the Sugerbabes CD (Three) is stickered as 7.97 or 3 for 16, but has SEL (and charged at) 9.97.

The manager was just going to remove them from the shelves as I left with my bag of free shopping (CD, pizza, milk and newspaper :p )

Got Kasabian and Katherine Jenkins tonight on the old R&R. My first since the PC (don't want to get myslef banned :)).

Had to be done because I had a 150 extra point coupon (over £15 in entertainment).
Also used about £13 in coupons.....including a tesco specific one for some chocolate I hadn't bought (but had tried for free) thanks to the guy on the till. Found a couple of domestos with 50p coupon neck tags (75p ea)........and the Daz I bought had a £5 coupon inside :)

Forgot my double point coupon which expires in a few days... but good shop.
  • Thanks to all the information and hints which I have found very useful since discovering this thread. Thought I would update you on recently posted items following today’s shop at my local Mr T’S
Birds Eye Chicken Curry BOGOFF now corrected to refund £1.29 not £1.79(was 50p bonus refund) - shame enjoyed feeding all the family for around £2!
Dr Oniker Pizza 2 for £3 now scanning correctly- bought both Mozarella (so maybe works incorrectly/correctly depending which side of the till you are on if you try mixed flavours)
Today got a refund to add to recent Kasabians, Magic Numbers, C. Church that I have not seen mentioned here before: Bryn Terfel-Bryn stickered £7.97 charged £10.97 so easy refund no need to walk back to show CS poster/SEL this time.

Bonus refund noticed now I am double checking my receipts - Cherry Coke 2 litres @ £1.32 each SEL said buy 3 for £3.30 not a great saving I thought but every bit helps as I put the Dr Pepper back so queried it with CS who shot off into the store to check in opposite direction to pop aisle. She returned to say Coca Cola is on offer on display in centre of store 2 for £2.25 (which was showing at bottom of bill) so I showed her SEL on display where I got mine and she agreed to refund of price difference. Pointed out the policy and got altogether £14.93 back – who needs cashback when you have got Tescos! Both bar codes were noted so be quick if you are going to try- worth stocking up for Christmas.
Mutibuy Savings are seemingly often mispriced pity the scanner to check prices will not let you know about them otherwise would multiply MultiBuy.
Any other retailer out there with such a magnanimous policy?
Are the CS not trained on the RR policy as not all are forthcoming with the refund/ keep the goods – twice they have had to check with their supervisor. One young CS even said when I was claiming 2 CD refunds-“ that’s a bit unlucky” – yes I thought it is for somebody but not me!
Off to buy a master of disguise kit for me and teddy as this is starting to become a habit.
    Latest score Mr T. 0- Mr B 6

Birds Eye Chicken Curry BOGOFF now corrected to refund £1.29 not £1.59(was 30p bonus refund) - shame enjoyed feeding all the family for around £2!

    Welcome Mr Bean!!

At the start, the BE CC was resulting in a £1.79 discount for the second one :-) Worked out at two chicken curries for less than 80p.

Keep up the good work, and remember to post back any findings.

I was charged full £3.96 so queried it with CS who shot off into the store to check in opposite direction to pop aisle. She returned to say Coca Cola is on offer on display in centre of store 2 for £2.50 (still works out an overcharge) so I showed her SEL on display where I got mine and she agreed to refund of price difference.

Coca cola has been 3 for £3.30 for a few weeks IIRC. When I was shopping today I saw that it was now 2 for £2.25. I nearly bought 4, but got a 4pack for £4.39 instead. Sounds like an old price ticket.
  • Last night...SEL £4.39 Package £4.69...these are the one eighth portion
size not the quarters. Whole new tray on shelf at £4.69 so not mixed old
    and new. Got 5.
