They are right and wrong!
The Bacon error is caused by the £2.06 labels for 250g being placed in front of the £ 2.48 300g products. This is of course confusing and misleading! Typical though. It also shows that the £2.06 offer was not as good an offer as it first appeared to be. In fact it works out at almost exactly the same price by weight!
Unless you ended up getting it free of course!
I got 2 Terry's Chocolate Oranges on Monday evening for £3.
The discount was not applied and I was charged £1.98 each. The CS lady was suprised and wondered how long it had been wrong!
I bought 2 more on Tuesday guessing that they would not correct the error as it ended midnight Tuesday! The label was still there today so I got 2 more. What can you do to tell them!
There is an offer 4 for £5 so if you see the older 2 for £3 don't buy 4 at a time!

Was in the above Thursday lunchtime. picked up Catherine Jenkins and Kasabian CD's both overcharged against Poster.

Lady in front of me at CSD was getting refund on Stars Wars Revenge of Sith, apparently they had a sign up saying buy any DVD get Star Wars ROS for £5 less, and guess wot, she didn't get her £5 off.

She had a knowing look about her when I appeared at CS saying I think I had been over charged....... if your out there, let yourself be known

You exchanged it for £33.97 credit? Guess they didn't write on your receipt?!
What I meant was that when I scanned it last week it was coming up at £15.97, so they must have changed the system price recently. Though of course the stickered one I looked at last week has gone now

Got my first refund today

Kasabian CD sel 5.97 - scan 8.97
Jamiroquai cd sel 8.97 - scan 9.97

CS were fine.

Also the woman in front of me got refunded on a viz annual, scanned @ 6.97 not sure what it should have been but it was part of buy one for £??? or 2 for £8

Some vegetarian Edam today, as earlier on the board, but the prices onthe cds all stickered out now...

:j I've just got a refund on the Motorola V3 - £139.99. The offer of £20 off any Tesco Mobile mobile when you spend £40 or more in store didn't come off. The CS argued that it was £20 off your bill rather than the mobile so only offered the £20 to begin with. I then argued that whether it was off my bill or mobile then I had still paid £20 more than I was expecting..........and if she prefered to refund ALL the items on my receipt I didn't really mind.:j

Apparently the cashier has to key in a code for the £20 reduction so look for someone who isn't quite with it and you may be lucky.

I also got the Kasbian CD and the cashier tried to argue the poster was only a guide price :rolleyes: before checking with the manager and refunding.

got a refund on finest bacon and cartons of soup, also found a new one
lamb chops large pack,5 chops in pack, it has a sticker saying special offer was 9.48 kg now 8.48 kg, looked at the SEL where it says 7.48 kg, so two lots of chops for me,
got the kasabian SEL 7.97 was charged 7.97 so no refund on that one

Mercenaries PS2 game priced at 13.97 but you get charged 19.97 at till. So free game brilliant. This was in Tesco coatbridge, might try cumbernauld later!!!!
