    Tick tock tick tock

    2 weeks, still nothing. 0% offer will be over by the time they get around to my application ::)
    How do I add a signature?

    My girlfriend received a letter this morning offering her this card. Having looked at the terms and conditions, am I right in thinking:

    - There is no charge for balance transfers made during the first 30 days;

    - You cannot transfer the balance straight into a current account; you'd have to go via a SBT card? If so, I assume the SBT card would have to be in her name (at the moment I have an Egg card but she doesn't)?

    Thanks
    Dan
    .
  • You can transfer a balance off anyone's card if you want, so therefore the SBT card doesn't have to be in your girlfriend's name.
  • I applied for this on the internet 2 weeks plus ago and still heard nothing. At the time, I got an acknowledgement saying I would be contacted within 4-5 days. I've phoned them twice to find out what's going on but no joy! I've also emailed but recd a very non-committal "we'll be in touch soon" type of reply. Any tips on how we can put pressure on HSBC to pull its finger out would be most welcome!

    Husband applied online on November 7th. Still not heard anything, so gave them a ring. Just got to be patient We did make a print out as recommended, but noticed that there is no reference number on it, just the date at the bottom of the page as we printed it out as proof of our application.

    Well its been 100 years since I applied, still no answer.

    HSBC woman suggests I apply over the phone if I still hear nothing by this Friday...

    Thing is, Should I now wait until the start of December to reapply? Would the credit card 0% period extend from Sep to Oct 2005 at that point?

    Is this still the best card to apply for now anyway?!?!?!?!?
  • I wanted to re-apply as well, but then they have almost certainly recorded a credit search on my file, so there is the chane of ending up with two recorded search and no card.
  • I'm an existing customer for 7 years, and I just went into the branch and got it almost straight away with no problems.
