    Applicant number 4:

Just rang so I don't know much about him but he sounds late 20's! Very polite and friendly, and willing to pay a full deposit...

They're all coming round tonight, folks!

What's the attraction of your location that he can't get nearer to work?

    Ummm... Badger-Lady herself, perhaps?

    Maybe he either
    a) likes her photo (with the Vodka bottle) or
    b) is an avid reader of this thread and wants to experience it from the inside?

    I vote for b) :D

And yes, it has to be canditate no 2, although no 1 would possibly provide us with more entertainment...

I think we need to supply badgerlady with questions to use in the vetting process.

Did they like the pics on the advert? Do they mind being part of the truman show? Have they enough quirks to entertain the readers without irratating the badger too much?

Aah, applicants 1 and 2 have been fab!

Our young lady is just so sweet and lovely - I think I may have fallen for her  - she's a health nut who went mad for my chickens and even asked if she could bring her duck . She's not a clean freak after all - her previous house was covered in dog poo  so, even though I made no special effort, she was stunned with the condition of my place. I like her!!!

Only issue is that she may only be here for 1 month. Let's be fair, that's longer than most of them last :rotfl:.

Then our Scottish man - fairly quiet, clearly hard-working but I'm sure he has a party side. New to the country so he doesn't have any mates, would just tag along with us for at least a while. He's also committed for at least 6 months.

Well Applicant 4 was due 10 minutes ago - he's lost points already :(

Applicant 5 works in the building opposite me and she's desperate to move but can't afford to until payday...
