Applicant number 3:
More mature man who works away for long periods of time (around 8 weeks) but needs somewhere to live in between. We haven't talked money yet, but he's said "he hopes the rent will consider his absences"...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
hmmm
Applicant 1 - doesn't sound promising for soooo many reasons, I'd be very wary - you could end up with a major problem here.
Applicant 2 - sounds promising - be interested to hear your reaction when you actually meet him though. Dare I say he actually sounds normal...:D
Applicant 3 - okay, so he's absent for periods of time but as far as rent reduction goes...tough - sounds like he'd be better off in a B&B and put his stuff in storage if that's the way he thinks.
Look forward to hearing more....:rotfl:

Maybe he's a fan of the thread - Badger Lady does have quite a fan club.0 -
Applicant No 3 - I'd personally avoid as who's to say he only ends up at yours a few days a month and whats the point in advertising for a full-time lodger to get someone who's hardly there (unless they still paying the full rate).
Applicant No 2 sounds best so far - and us Scottish people are greatSome People Live & Learn, Some People Just Live...0 -
