  • How annoying. You need to say something, be polite, but firm. Make it absolutely clear that you don't want him to eat elsewhere and that you expect him home every night.

Someone once tried to annexe one of my cats, whoever it was must have been braver than me though because they gave her a bath!

She came home looking all fluffy and smelling perfumey (and mightily cheesed off), needless to say the cat never went back to whoever it was!

Save Tufty, actually that reminds me, I used to be in the Tufty club, whatever happened to that?

Or you could go over there and feign to be upset saying you can't find your cat, you hope nothing's happened to him and have they seen him per chance.

Go on to say that he always loves to sit on your lap (or whatever) and you're missing him.

I was reading the update about the cat going to the neighbour's and just turned over to channel 5 to see a cat playing the piano. Maybe Tufty has a new hobby?

Oh, well that was bad timing! :rotfl:

Just as Timne posted his encouragement, the doorbell rang... my lovely lovely neighbour (who's a member on here) put on his coat and was about to head over and pick him up for me! :) But just as he approached, he saw my elderly neighbour carrying the cat across the road - she rang my doorbell and dropped Tufty outside the door. He automatically turned back and she wore a smug expression, then I called his name and he came running indoors for his Whiskas. I said "thank you neighbour" and closed the door.

Then LovelyLovelyNeighbour had a quick chat with her and came in for a cup of tea

id say "my cat has been poorly and the vet has said it is all the rich food it has been eating. It only eats whiskers at my house so I am just popping over to ask you to stop feeding tufters as I dont want him to get any more sick, and i am worrying about him as he doesnt seem to come home when he has been for tea at your house. please step away from the cat you kittynappers" (leave the last bit off)
