Brilliant, Jammy! The last bit's my fave :rotfl:
My ex-GF said I should use the vet angle as well... will perhaps hold onto that for a couple of days and maybe even take him in for a genuine checkup (he hasn't been for a while, and the vet's is at the end of our road)Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Well done for going to get him back - I don't often post over here, but our story reminds me of my kittykat, who was sadly stolen by a housemate (now ex- obviously) its a long story but i wanted to encourage you to say something to them as it's heartbreaking to know someone else has your ball of fluff! I especially like the vet idea!
Good luck0 -

Its more fun when it happens that way...
I'd probably predict that 'nicesofar' lodger gets fed up of the cat getting in his way and offers to cook dinner for B_L one night....'Chat a l'orange' or such likeYou never do know what will happen next, thats why I think this should be thread of the year

Is Tufty Microchipped? That way if your neighbours decide to try and permanently take him under their wing and get him to the vets (even for flea and worming treatments) most vets should scan their chips and it'll show he's registered to you0
-
I've never known a vet to scan an animal when it goes for routine treatment. Why would they? If the animal needs treatment and you are willing to pay then they'll treat it.0

Oh, don't... the two of us were watching Saw II at the weekend and he started talking about murder / suicide and how you never see any really imaginitive ones any more, and how he would go about it really creatively
Now he keeps dropping hints about hiding in the coal cellar with a meat cleaver, or setting up death traps around the house!!!  :eek:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

WHERE'S MY CAT!!!
I've just walked in through the door... I actually kept him in today, with a litter tray and some food... my plan was to keep him away for a few days, then take him to the vet's and break the news to the neighbours.
But SOMEBODY's let him out and SOMEBODY's trapped him!
I just can't keep doing this...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
