Nope - I guess you never know where it's gonna come from. I'll have to learn how to sleep in a bed now...

Because he'll be my partner, presumably his contribution won't be taxable, which will then bring my rental income back into "Rent a Room Scheme" territory...

...Everything about Boyfriend1 is everything I've been looking for all my life.

I do love a good romance.

You missed me? ... it was you that went running off for Glasto-fun, produced your own online big brother house/soap ... and then ran off into the sunset to meet with Mr Right!

    I've been here all along

    :)

Glad to see things are turning out great. Just need a little Magic Badger Dust on the bloomin' weather now!

Great thread. Like many on here it seems I've been following this but not posting on it.

Good luck with the new/old b/f BL!

Can you now please fall out with Lodger 1 and repeat a similar story?
    ;)

Whoops, I just fell asleep on my laptop last night! Was obviously relaxed and happy for the first time in a while...

I went for a wander round the house this morning and just got even more confused - the tumble dryer is gone, but he's left behind:
    - A fold-up bed base (I put it in the hallway for him, but it's now tucked away in the front room)
    - The wardrobe! After all that, I guess he really couldn't be bothered to take it apart...
    - A big black record bag. OK, whatever.
    - The wall bracket for his 50" plasma in the bedroom.
    - A junior hacksaw.

Well, sod it - he's handed in the keys, his notice period has expired anyway - while I wouldn't have chosen the Ikea monstrosity of a wardrobe, I'm not sniffing at it for free.

    Anyone want a camping bed?
