    Aah, that's nice! :)

It's a happy household again at the moment... NakedChefLodger is having a hard time adjusting but he's happy in the house and gets on well with everyone. Tufter is completely relaxed and back to his old self, and JoannaLodger is poised to stay and work towards a promotion at work.

I offered my large room to JoannaLodger but she turned it down - she said she's really made herself at home upstairs and doesn't feel the need to uproot. So instead NakedChefLodger is going to increase his rent slightly and move down there. He's going to reinstate Narnia for his little girls! And will redecorate down there - quite a challenge, it needs replastering and everything really.

So that leaves MiniLodger ready to move into BigGunsLodger's old room in 3-4 weeks time.

Great stuff! Do you mean he's going to do up the tiny bedroom so his kids can stay the odd night? Can't wait for update after (if) big guns collects his stuff, are you going to present him with his invoice for damages and rent?

He's going to decorate BigGuns' old room (which he's in at the moment) and my big room (which he's moving to). The layout of the big room will include a hidden bedroom with bunk beds in it, that you can only get to by climbing through a secret door at the back of a wardrobe

No-no-no... I first created Narnia in my room because I had a boyfriend and no bed :o I don't like beds as furniture. So I put a mattress behind the wardrobes and removed the back panel. And then at QuackersLodger's housewarming party we put packages of turkish delight in there and told our guests that they could keep whatever they found in the secret room, if they could find the secret room :p

  • So, it's an alcove in your room. A windowless one, I am assuming. Do you have any fur coats in the wardrobe?

Nope, it's got its own window, light socket and telephone line (separate from the main one). I used to feel really safe in their, like a wee panic room! It's the same size as the single room I'm moving into upstairs.

As above; BL, is there any chance you could take just a couple of shots of this set-up? You have decribed "Narnia" a few times, but i still struggle to visualise what you mean (and it leaves me intrigued!!)?

Nothing too intrusive, just to give us a vision of what it looks like :)
