  • Great for JoannaLodger, though I too am worried about what's going to happen at the big badger house without BL around.

Well I've spent all day today packing up my stuff for long-term storage... including earmarking most of it for disposal. If anyone's after a French Maid costume or a porcelain doll let me know!

A french maid costume would come in very handy as it happens.....

    Oooh la la!
You could always sneak the French Maid costume and the dolly into Big Guns Lodger's stuff...
Well, they would go nicely with his girls' necklaces. :D

Can NakedChefLodger and MiniLodger be trusted to look after Tufter???

This is of the utmost importance to those of us who have been lurking and have formed an allegiance with Tufter.
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

I very much believe so... NakedChefLodger volunteers at an animal shelter and has fostered animals at home for them - he loves them all. MiniLodger grew up with a dog but he instantly took to Tufter when they met. I've talked about his care to them both.

After all he's dead easy - he never overeats, so you just have to make sure there's always fresh food in his bowl and water (ideally milk-coloured) in his dish. He toilets himself, exercises himself, sleeps himself... the odd cwtch is all he'll ever ask for :p

Been peeking at your World Tour, B-L.
Calgary and the especially the Rockies are spectacular. The train trip down to Vancouver is well worth it, it's a truly unforgettable experience. I've done that railway journey four times, twice in each direction, and it's magnificent. The natural world at its finest.

Long time lurker on this thread. I rent out rooms too though currently have absolutely no one (not in a very populated area).

I'm also concerned re the loss of Joannelodger. Hope everything goes well with getting the two new guys moved in.
  • BL: We used to leave our cats 'home alone' whilst we went away for a couple of weeks. One is on meds now so someone stays, but we have a water dispenser for them which lasts at least a month. It just needs a clean every now and then. We also used to have a litter tray (never been used though!) which we filled with dry food.

I know your prospective lodgers are happy to care for tufters but would something like this be better just in case they go away or forget to give him his daily top up?
