Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!
Comments
-
I like the sound of a bloke getting all emotional when talking about leaving home and missing his nippers. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be a good lodger but at least he's got a heart.
I wonder what side-benefits there could be by having a chef in the house? Discounts on epicurean items? Cases of wine at cost?0 -

- what items he's left behind,
- where they are being stored,
- plenty of opportunity to come and collect them,
- a deadline (2 weeks from the date of the letter) beyond which they will be disposed of and the manner of their disposal.
- various options on how to contact me.
That puts me perfectly within my legal right to commence disposal on the date I told him.
Well, as long as you've checked your info from various different sources and are confident that you understand your obligations, I won't mention it again.
How soon are you leaving for pastures new?0 -
Oh, I miss PasturesNew! :rotfl:
I'm finishing work on 9th Feb (my birthday), then flying to Japan on 15th March for a few weeks, then driving round Europe. There's a wee itinerary here: map of travelsMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Isn't he staying at his daughters till he can move in? He has a kid from another relationship then0 -

BL said he's at his daughters' this weekend, not living there - presumably lives on a mate's sofa, and then at the weekend is staying over (BL said the wife is moving out for the weekend so he can stay with the daughters)0 -
I've just realised this thread has had nearly 261,000 views. That's impressive!0

PotentialLodger2 is coming round at 10am... he describes himself as 'quiet', he writes well and he works full-time. He currently lives alone but needs to save money (one thing we can all identify with!). I told him there's no room available yet and that the house is in a bit of a flux, but he's still keen to take a look.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

He might turn out to be a better bet than the nakedchef one - who seems to be floundering a bit imhoMortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Oh NakedChef is keen as anything - we've been texting daily! His cheque should be cleared on Monday... he actually asked whether he could move in earlier if he gave me a £50 in cash, but I stood firm and said that it all had to be cleared before I could give him the keys (especially since Joanna's coming to London with me at silly o'clock Monday morning - she has a job interview there).
This one is looking to move in a month's time, when I go away.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
