Ugh, I just don't know where to start! It's not just rubbish - he's got stuff piled on top of stuff EVERYWHERE!

Just bag / box it as crudely as you like BL and dump it in the shed / hall cupboard. He can't expect the room to remain un rentable, just because he CBA to clean it out. You have been over generous already.

Did he mention the money he owes you/

When is he collecting the rest of his stuff?

He said he'd be packing Saturday and moving Sunday. He doesn't normally drive, so I guess he's roped in help for Sunday (I offered to use my campervan but he's never taken me up on it).

Dear Saint Badger-Lady, just remember how much he has abused your kindness and be ruthless with the stuff.
Two sorts...one is rubbish, the other is clothes/books etc.
    Plenty of bin liners.
Stapler and bits of paper marked either Rubbish or Stuff to label the bags.
    Good luck!

I'd make certain that every bin liner had clothes wrapped around his beer can collection 'to keep them safe'

What a complete t*sser this bloke is. Still, he'll carry on being a t*sser, but doing it somewhere else.

You said he turned up with 'a' girlfriend, was this 'the' girlfriend he'd been leaving on her own in your house?

Yep, that's the one. She didn't speak. I get the impression this is normal teenage behaviour.

When mucking out for a slow to leave lodger, I found it best to literally shovel everything into cardboard boxes, and leave it to the lazy beggars to sort for themselves when/if they were bothered to collect the stuff.

There are some things you really do not want to know were inside your house. Our worst find was cannabis plants in the eaves cupboard.

I'm really, really glad you gave him notice and didnt give him another chance to shape up.

Shocking state he's left things in. Cant believe teenage girlfriend was happy to hang out in his room in that state.

I wouldn't even bother separating it. Just fill bin liners, start from one end and work your way to the other. Idiot. (Him not you :D)

I've lurked for toooooo long & even checked in last night to see how things were going.

If he ever asks you to provide a reference for future tenancies just forward the photo of the beercans.
