Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!

He's avoiding you as he thinks he's either going to get a dressing down. Perhaps he's even worried about getting the heave-ho.
It's going to take 2 minutes to tell him he's out so just knock loudly on his door til he opens it.
I can't believe someone would put up with this in their own house!!
I'm with m1ntie. 7 days and he's out in my book. He's still breaking the smoking rule and I have a feeling he'll be breaking any rule he likes in his notice period. 7 days gives less chance of damage/general untidiness etc etc.0 -
Badger_Lady doesn't live there Mon to Fri, so I can see why she would want to have this discussion face-to-face. Mind you, if he's deliberately avoiding her because he doesn't want to face the music an email might become necessary. I'd not want to do it like that, but needs must sometimes.0

C'mon badger lady, do the deed. the anticipation of having the conversation is always worse than the reality. Get in there! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

I wouldn't do it when he has company. If he takes it badly he/they could make BL feel very uncomfortable.Herman - MP for all!0

I wouldn't either. It's really not an adult thing to do but I expect B_L doesn't need to be told that.
When are you heading back to The Smoke B_L?0 -

My coach leaves at 4:40am. I don't fancy my chances of catching him alone tonight though (and don't really fancy going downstairs at all, not with them all there)

What would I do? Send him an email some time tomorrow telling him exactly how thin the ice is that he is skating on. Give it the heading "Final Warning". Any other transgression, most especially complaints from the neighbours, and he'll be given 48 hours notice. If the transgression is especially irksome it'll be 240
