Lodger1: I have today put a deposit down on a penthouse flat in [nearby City]. I'm moving in next weekend!
So that's the top (first) floor of a block of studio flats.
    Go him.
    Yuppy!

When do we get the footage from the shower room?
    And the bedroom?

Like in the proper BB House.

Read this (whole) thread, nicely done. Those positive waves post got my highest marks.

And now a real life situation:

Mildly elderly (opinion – shorts, veg, facebook, etc.) landlady kindly asks freshly morally traumatised divorcee lodger to leave after a very short tenancy due to him being inconsiderate, breaching LA & not paying rent. Man says ‘okay’ and finds the flashiest place around on a short notice to redeem his (hurt) feelings (even though he cannot afford it financially due to a developing cocaine dependency). He breaks the news to LL and other lodger during a house party and enjoys his moment. Unfortunately he does not pass checks/cannot put down a deposit on time and denied his new penthouse. He buys an unusually large quantity of cocaine and scares his girlfriend away with some extra kinky karaoke sex requests. Then he drinks way above his weight, gets home late and puts VERY loud music – loud enough to wake up even a heavily medicated LL who comes straight to his room and sees him mutilating corpse of another lodger with a Logitech Z5500 subwoofer. In a next hour police officers responding to neighbours call find LL with a constantly beeping mobile phone being shoved into her mouth...

I’ll let you finish otherwise my post will be deleted as usual and this thread will remain so hippy – people are going to drink herbal tea for months after reading it.

By the way if such posting-your-address-on-a-public-forum sweetness really exists it should be protected somehow – can we establish ’BadgerLady protection club’ and have monthly BBQs/parties in her place.

Never mind the posting of the month competition, which usually seems to be won by a thread about saving a quid on anti wrinkle cream and never by a housing thread.
I propose a special thread of the year award just for buying and renting sagas.
Perhaps some sort of trophy could be awarded, we could call it "The Rigsby Cup".

    Brilliant.
I used to love that programme... I had a thing for Richard Beckinsale.

^ You've lost me. Must be my "mildly elderly" age of 25 :rotfl:
