Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!

I think it's unlikely... she's like a very sweet but silly small child. Fortunately, her pregnancy means she's guaranteed (and yes, she is guaranteed) to move out in a few months, so I can handle the chasing for that period of time, as long as things start trickling in.
According to my estimation, she currently owes £843. In 10 days time, she'll owe another £300.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Well done on the new BF - if you have met his mum and you are taking him to meet yours...does that mean that those are wedding bells that I can hear ringing:rotfl:

How many weeks rent does she currently owe? The moment it reaches 8 weeks you must contact the local council directly and arrange for it to be paid directly to you.
People who are reckless with money tend to binge when they receive a windfall and her priority will be the baby and not your rent.
There is the potential that if her claim subsequently proves to be fraudulent you may have to pay it back but check the position with the council.0 -
Yeah, it's about 13 weeks... there are reductions in there due to cleaning, but also additions for things like eBay items...
I'm going home tonight and hope to bump into her - will form a plan of action from there. BF has literally ordered me to agree a payment plan with herMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Nah, I've just got home raring for a discussion, but there's no lodger with whom to discuss. Doesn't look like she's been in for a few days either...

Time to pop a reminder in the diary to contact the council tomorrow to direct rent LHA payments to yourself.0
