  • Could someone confirm if the misprice on Nivea shower gel is still on and if so which one exactly is it because my local store had loads of different types on bogof so didnt want to take a chance. Any info would be appreciated.

I kind of assumed it was the misprice thread - because of the title.

    yup!

I tried so many times in the previous threads to keep them just to the misprices but to no avail, unfortunately. Sometimes I think I must be invisible ;)

I'll try once again - please, please, please can we keep the thread just for listing the misprices. There is a thread here in Discussion Time for any discussion on the rights, wrong, workings of the policy - I'd be grateful if people could use that.

    I've been Money Tipped!
No bogof signs for Nivea in any of my locals.

I think Redfox has taken to the world of "can't beat em, join em". She does a fab job trying to stop the discussion:T , but I'd have given up ages ago if I were her! Redfox, you have far more patience than I!

I'm as guilty as the next (wo)man of discussing on this thread, so the actual misprices get lost, hence the "need" for cpjackso's site.

I appreciate it's a long trawl back through the thread for newbies, but there are lots of similar questions being asked. Maybe Redfox could clearly post how the misprice works on the first post on each new thread and just cut and paste it over when a new thread is started? This would elimnate a chunk of the same type of post (hopefully) but we all need to vigilant about discussing.

And look, I've done it again. Sorry.

Personally I think the discussion surrounding misprices and the CS policy ,etc is vital to the whole point of this thread, (and shouldn't be separated off), which is getting the most out of Mr T for misprices, it isn't just about knowing the incorrect prices, but it is all about the stuff the goes around the policy, aswell. Any joe bloggs can walk into mr T and find mispriced stuff it is not too difficult, just walk down the meat aisle. What they don't have is the access to the shared experiences of how to deal with the CS staff when they start playing up, you'll lose that on this thread if you separate them out, that's what results in making sure that a refund is obtained. :money:

no one seems listen 'just post misprices here it would be a lot shorter and easier to read'.

I absolutely agree with Kenny4315, the information is as important as the price details.

A couple of points: If goods for which you are refunded are unfit, (contain glass for instance) then the offence is to SUPPLY. Cash is not an issue here.
Also, it makes no difference what the overcharged item is, food or otherwise, as far as the law is concerned.

And just to keep on topic, I got 2 Organic Brie at New Oscott yesterday, £9.65 (Shelf) v £10.20 (Pack) - Tonight we have our Cheese & Wine party!! 15 varieties of cheese washed down with "Under half price" wines. Thank you Mr T!

Ignore what redfox say's at your own peril, if we continue to abuse the thread he will lock it is my guess and you will have nowhere to post then.

What's so hard about posting comments in the other thread and leaving this one for prices only, this in normall practice on most boards or they just end up a mess and that does not help anyone. I am just as bad as the rest of you for doing it, but even I could see this one was getting to bad.

So come on use some common sence.

We don't want to lose this thread, do we?

Redfox, could you explain whats not allowed?

They were not external links, but links to this thread and the discussion thread. Trying to make it easy for people to click and post comments in the other thread.

Maybe it was the link to the prices external link?
A small, unobtrusive link to a site which explains your connection or field of expertise is permissible. It should not be dominating. Linking directly to pure referral sites such as Rpoints or GreasyPalm (unless you own them!) is not acceptable. If in doubt check with the board guides first.

Let me clarify this. These are the only 'links of personal benefit' that are allowed - this means referral links, Rpoints or cashback links and links to the referrers boards are NOT permitted in signatures. Otherwise it encourages people to post just to 'print their signature everywhere'.
