Today I have/ will:
- Pay the profit I made from my small business over the weekend, off my mortgage,
- Have as close to a NSD as I can.
"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris0 -
Today I will:
- pick up a top I've bought on my CC for my SIL (she's giving me the cash tonight when I drop it off, but I still get the cash back on the CC)
- sort out our current account and money manager
- should be a NSD
- looking to organise a week to Haven in October using Tesco clubcard deals.
- daily clicks and surveys/pureprofile
- need to finish the ironing tonight so there will be nothing else in the small room to stop me clearing it
- evenings this week I plan on finishing the cushion covers for our camper van so we can have a weekend away.
Out and about tomorrow so, I will:
- hopefully have a NSD as going to Birmingham and have enough Diesel.
- Will then put my expense claim in and use that for OP once my diesel has come out of it.0 -
In the last week I ( and OH) have:-
- Gone through our direct debits and as a result reduced our mortgage protection to cover to the amount that's actually left ( we had been paying to cover the original loan amount we took out and we had been paying two companies to do the same cover.Oops!!)
- changed utilities suppliers
- Weeded/ watered the veg garden and planted out some tomato plants we were given.
- Potty trained my daughter :j . Good timing as expecting my 2nd littl'un in July so will only need 1 lot of nappies now.
- Cut back my little girls' hours at nursery as from next week I will be on maternity leave. Hurray!
- Going to help my OH with a display at his golf shop later to try and generate some more sales.
- Have dentist appt today  but will at least be free as have my NHS maternity card.
- Done clicks on pigsback and surveys to earn vouchers which I use to buy things for peoples birthdays with.
- Found my cheapest local petrol station using a link from this site.
- Revamped my little girl's bedroom at a grand cost of £26! A pack of 'In the Night garden' transfers and a bright quilt cover. Ok so i have spent money but i'm still quite chuffed with the result.Member of mortgage free in 3. £13,000ish to go on mortgage but now running out of  money! Hard slog for this last bit!0 -
I've walked DD UP the hill to school, then walked DOWN the hill to take DS to preschool, then walked all the way back UP the blasted hill again to get home. 1/2 mile up, 1 mile down, 1/2 mile up.
Feet are killing me and my hands were numb when I went to sign DS in!
Over the weekend we have put in our new flower bed in the back garden and planted loads of veggies.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Hi everyone,
I have done/will do the following:- Having a NDS (apart from 50p charity thing at work, which it would be very churlish to avoid);
- Brought lunch to work again;
- Have £25 in my purse from an ebay collection on Saturday. This avoided paypal charges and should tide me over until the end of the month so I don't need to draw cash out of the bank.
- Will post a 'wanted' ad on my local Freecycle for a wheelbarrow.
OH is also doing sterling work in digging in the garden. This weekend he has dug out a space for the shed and had weeded the old vegetable patch and turned it over ready for this year's plantings. I will tip last year's container compost in to try to give the soil a better texture. I'll also mix in a bit of growmore to give it a boost.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

so far this week...
- planted out onions, cabbage, broad bean and runner bean plants
- got some nice tomato plants cheap off a charity stall (3 for a £1)
- went round the local deer park while out walking the dog and collected deer droppings for compost (honestly its great on rhubarb...hubby prefers custard on his though...)
- left purse at home by accident but it worked out fine as the local farm shop doesn't take plastic so I didn't spend as much
- got some thrifty books out of the library, the automatic millionnaire, rich dad, poor dad and pay off your mortgage in 2 yearsSave £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

The past couple of days I have ...
- had an NSD yesterday
- took lunch into work today
- used up all the food in my fridge or cut up and frozen so nothing will go to waste when I go on hols
- bought shampoo from Boots which added to my best friend's lunch gave me enough points for a £5 voucher which I used to get some free facial wipes
- gave my best friend my Boots card so he can keep earning me points while I'm away (benefit for him is he gets every 6th lunch free).
- done surveys
- still need to turn everything electrical other than the fridge and answerphone off so they're not wasting electricity while I'm away.
- will pack an empty water bottle in my carry on bag so I can fill it up from a fountain after security and not need to pay out for bottled water.
- rather than buying travel sized toiletries I'm going to decant from my normal big bottles into smaller ones from gift packs that I've been saving.0 -
OK, NSD today :j
Took lunch to work & ate in car!:p
Have checked on petrolprices.com to check best price to fill up tomorrow - am 200 miles from home  so work is buying me dinner & brekkie :T
Managed to get all my tasks done yesterday :A .
Have asked for a chinese bowl set from freecycle :rolleyes:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
