    Morning all!

Had a quick grab round of all the stuff that kids leave on the floor when they depart, then took oh to A&E, he tripped down the stairs - I didn't push him honest! - and his ankle's still swollen and bruised a few days on, hope it's nothing serious though.

Gonna have a read through with a coffee now, before hoovering and bm,dw and wm loads! No idea about dinner tonight, think I might try out my pie maker, veg in cheese sauce or chicken in freezer, that'll do!

I hope everyone enjoys their day.xx

It is good that your OH has his HGV licence to fall back on. The driver CPC comes in soon and as there is already a shortage of drivers people will be crying out for them as I dont think many people will want to sit a 4 hour written exam so they can drive lorries.

Have just washed my kitchen floor which was gross, the kitchen has been cleaned and the wm is on. Now in my office but just doing urgent stuff as need to pop to Makro later to stock up on packed lunch stuff and will see what else is on offer.

Ooooh tired mum, I saw an ad on tele for one of those, I want one :D We've got 2 lines running from the house to the shed, they're only about 12' long. We've planted a 6' tall tree at one end so I'm running out of drying room

    SF Good luck for today

    Catowen

I just have some red marks on my arm now which will take a while to fade but as I stuck my arm under cold water immediately it should not leave permanent scarring.

DD is happy as I made her home made scotch pancakes for brekkie!

Need to hang out two loads of washing as it looks like a good drying day.

I know we have been warning you of a rebound relationship but I can not do that as I had a rebound myself - we have our 26th wedding anniversary on 27th May this year!
It is lovely to hear you sound this happy.:j

    Hester

    Good luck with your BIL.

Have you thought of having Katy's friend as a lodger (on her own!)

Am feeling a bit guilty at spending £40 on sandals at the weekend - but I needed them and they are a good make. The ones I had were cutting into my feet and it hurt to walk, which was ridiculous. I also saved a lot of money when we went shopping for DDs so I deserve it.
    Hugs to all
