Hi everyone
Martyn - you sound so up-beat, that's lovely!
Hester - really pleased for you, will be nice to have your peace back I'm sure! Will miss your stories though
Pen-pen - the chicks are sooo cute
Aussie - best of luck relocating the oranges
Hugs for those that need them
Had to leave work early yesterday because I was all over the place again, but felt much better by the time I'd walked home. I need to learn to leave as soon as the stress kicks in! Collaborators are still being a bit of a pain, but nothing serious this time. I'm going to miss my weekly session of abuse form my boss as I'm inviglating an exam tomorrow morning, so that is a weight off my mind - and the extra cash will come in handy. I haven't told him yet, but I'll drop him and e-mail and let him know; he can't really object as he's not paying any of us at the moment so knows how much we need the extra cash.
Right, must go as I've got an 8.30 am meeting to prepare for, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Morning all - no news to report yet!
I have had it 100% confirmed that I am in labour though, Good job they told me I might of missed the contractions eh?! Apparently I am just taking my own sweet time about it!
Yesterday the contractions weren't too painful until DH took my Mum to A&E (she fell over yesterday afternoon) at 10pm! DD was asleep in bed and I managed to get some doze type sleep between them as they were 20 mins or so apart. I ended up calling the labour ward at 1:30am just for reassurance as I was on my own and feeling a little lonely!
Right I have just seen the time, better go and do my morning chores before it is too late!
Edit: Oh I just remembered - hugs to everyone!0 -
Good morning everyone
Aussie are you becoming a freegan??:p
mrs mix and candygirl (((hugs))) and thoughts are with you and yours.
Hester how on earth will you manage without being woken at 2.00 am with Katy's singing or her using 10 chicken breasts for one meal, etc, etc, etc, etc! :rotfl:
Benthosboy Congratulations on finding someone who makes you happy but as Squiggly says, take it slow. If you rush it, you might just find it ending before it's really begun. Good to see you so upbeat.
N9eav you sound really fed up today. Don't let the b*ggers get you down.
dlb things seem really positive with you at the mo. :T Well done.
My ankle feels a lot better today and as I'm not working, I'm going to Asda to return the shorts and trousers I bought for DD but don't fit her. Need to buy a bigger size. As the cupboards and f/f are full, I won't be buying anything else. (well, fingers crossed anyway)
Dinner is roast chicken with lots and lots of veg. Lunch will be a salad sandwich of some kind. No idea what I feel like having for breakfast so will go raid the cupboards now.
DSis let me know that DNephew and his wife have planted half of the snowdrops at home and half at the baby's grave. Both of them are coping well under the circumstances and its proof of just how strong their relationship is.
Off to get DD organised for school. Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Had no luck with the oranges. Somebody lives there. Think I will pluck up the courage on Thursday & ask if I may pick some. The tree is loaded & there is heaps just rotting on the ground. Such waste and look lovely. I'm quite happy to buy them.
HH You never know, BIL might make a new subject.
Celyn Well done.
MrsMix At least you can visit Dad a bit more now.
Poggie Hope OH gets well soon.
PenPen Never mind, he played well & a trophy. :T
Off to check what's in the oven as it smells ready then make DH pack up. ByeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all :hello:
We've been putting Beans in with the family as much as possible, he seems really good with them. The babies follow him everywhere. One got confused this morning and tried to feed from him, you should've seen him jump
It's a bit cooler here today so I can get some weeding done. I went out to the garden three times yesterday for 10 mins at a time and I started to turn pink  and had headaches. Hopefully I'll last a bit longer out there today.
Gonna strip the beds in a bit so the washer will be busy. At least there'll be no ironing
I usually ride to the office on tuesdays but the boss's wife borrowed my keys yesterday and hasn't brought them back. So I can't go - what a shameBulletproof0 -
Good morning everyone,

Catz and poggie - glad your OHs are getting better!!!
PenPen - well done to your DS, getting to the final is an achievement in itself!!!
Martyn - so glad you have met someone, its lovely to hear you are so happy!!
celyn/annieBL/PP (and anyone else under the weather/hurt/poorly) hope you will be feeling better soon xxx
Not much planned here today, beef stew already in the SC, not enough washing to put the WM on, but will be able to put the DW on after lunch.
DS has his second day of SATs - he is really relaxed about it, but im struggling to know what to say to him! Ive asked how it went yesterday, he said better than he had expected - but then i didnt want to freak him out, so didnt like to say too much. Its short and long writting or something today, again, i dont like to question him too much, so will just give him a big hug.
Have one LO here this morning, we are going to visit the LO who is here tomorrow, and then i need to pop into town to the bank and get DSs name on his football trophy (he won most improved player last year, and ive needed to get his name on it since then, it has to go back tomorrow so it needs doing!). Ive also managed to find a second hand double buggy (which is a lot better than the one i have now) for £10, so will be picking that one up this morning.
OK, hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Good Morning All
Bethebee - I love the Cotswold Co stuff, only bought 1 thing from them but their quality and customer service is outstanding
Hester - :j :j :j
Poggie123- glad your OH is home
(((hugs))) to anyone who needs one.
Didnt catch up on the whole thread yesterday and didnt have time to post.
OH's day at court was rather strange, the CPS didnt have his file and our solictor and the court clerk was pushing for dismissal, the magistrates were going that way but the CPS prosecutor wouldnt let it drop so the case has been withdrawn - that means they have until July to get his file and summons him again. Our solicitor is pretty confident that wont happen but we wont count our chickens just yet. The good news is that our solicitor is applying to the court for costs so we will get some of our money back - we will just have to put it in a savings account in case we need him again - roll on July.
OH went into work last night and had to tell our lads that they may be on a 4 day week at the eom - he said it was one of the worst things he has ever had to do. We are hoping that our client sort out our new contract by then so it doesnt have to happen but who knows.
So we are cutting right back at the moment so OS will really come into its own now - did you lot watch the tonight programme last night - cant beleive their is still people out there spending £150-£200 week on food!
Anyway have got loads to do - the first thing on the list is getting dressed!
N9eav - sorry to hear about your veggies, have been out this morning and inspected ours - looks like we will be alright for onions and salad leaves but nothing else happening at the moment
Have a great day all.

Good morning all
I have done all my tidying for today..i just need to get round to cleaning the bathrooms! I got 4 plant pots for £1 yesterday and some strawberry seeds (50p) and some tomato seeds (39p) so me and my DS3 are going to plant them today. I went to MR M yesterday and could not carry all the shopping back plus compost so my ex is coming to help me carry it back while the children are at nursery
I am on my second day of not smoking (i smoked 2 yesterday) but im still classing it as my second day
I have put the WM on and we have all had showers, im now awaiting on the arrival of my friend who is coming for a brew with her 6month old
but i havent even done my hair and makeup yet lol
I have to take the children to nursery at 1pm (yay) and then go to to get some free range eggs as i think there pretty cheap at £1.80 for a dozen. I am then meeting my ex at 2pm and looking round town with him, doctors at 2.30pm because since satirday night my eye feels very sore to touch all over and hurts more when im tired (my eyeball feel bruised). Oh i forgot my health vistor is coming at eleven am also to talk to me (some of you know why). So after doctors i have to pick my DS3 up from nursery at 3.30pm and then go to MR M for compost and then get back in time to go back to nursery at 5pm to pick DD2 up. I usually pick DS3 up and take him swimming (his nursery is in a leisure centre) so that we dont have to travel all the way back to nursery but i want to get these seeds planted
I have gone on too much and my friend just said she might be earlier so i best get off and do my hair
Take care and hugs to all, i will catch up later xxx
