Just wondering if Asthma counts as a pre-existing medical condition?
I'm off to Florida in 2 weeks with the missus and i'm trying to get our travel insurance
Thanks
I would say definitely yes, of course it does. Some people can get very serious asthma attacks and sometimes very serious consequences.
When did you book your holiday? I can't believe you haven't already got your travel insurance in place - if anything happens to cause you to cancel your holiday between now and then you will lose the whole cost if you are not insured.0 -
Hi,
Does anyone know of any insurance companies, other than tesco's, that will cover tesco clubcard vouchers?Vic

Just purchased insurance for trip to usa with karma insurance with pre existing medical conditions for 37.26.i found them to be the cheapest and you didn't have to speak to them personally only had to answer online questions.I would warn though that they give a list of conditions asthma, hypertension, etc that they cover without any extra charge but you have to read further as it mentions that if you suffer with more than one of the listed conditions then you have to answer the online questions to see if you have to pay a premium so don't get caught out.I still found it to be one of the cheapest even with having to pay a premium. :T0

I've just booked a short holiday to Spain and am looking at what insurance to get. My American Express Platinum Card provids travel insurance as a benefit (although I only booked the hotel - not the flight - with my card so I'm not sure whether I'd be covered). However, I read that the insurance you get through your credit card often isn't very good. The cover looks okay to me but would it be advisable to book additional cover? What are usually the problems/exclusions when you rely on the insurance provided by your credit card?0

Hi
I have had to cancel my holiday to Turkey due to my husbands ill health.
I have bought £600 worth of Turkish lire and to buy it back I would lose £90 on the conversion.
a)Would the insurance cover me for the loss of this?
b) Is there any way I can et a beter buy back rate ? (than the Post office)
Anyone any ideas?
Or any way to recover the full cost0 -

I wouldn't have thought so, I think dependent child means a child to whom you are a parent or guardian (or maybe foster parent). Check with the insurance company. It would be interesting to know - come back with your findings.0
