E BUYER wheres my order?

Just order everything on credit card. If there's a problem tell e-buyer (via e-notes) that you'll start a chargeback within 8 days. Even if it's for £2.50 postage overcharged. Then do it.0

Most credit cards make you wait at least 28 days as far as i'm aware, and even then you'll have to jump through quite a few hoops to claw back the money. Otherwise we'd all be doing it.0 -

I use Goldfish CC and have claimed twice. The last time was for an item I bought from Simply computers for Christmas last year. I bought it 28/11/2004 and it didn't work properly when fitted 27/12/2005. Simply refused to take it back. All i did was initially contact the vendor by telephone, then by recorded delivery letter quoting sale of goods act. When they refused to respond I contacted Goldfish, sent them a copy of the correspondence and they refunded the money to my CC. A logical sequence of events that does not constitute jumping through hoops.0 -

So that would be roughly 28 days and not 8 then?
Your logical sequence events may be constituted as quite a lot of running around and leg work by some people. :j Good that you got it sorted out though. :T It sounds like Goldfish must be quite good.0 -
Im in the middle of a protracted dispute with Ebuyer.
It's a long story but basically after agreeing to cancel my order, 4 days later my items are still being shown as "being picked" when I contacted them again I was told that it was "too late to cancel".
I'm now faced with having to refuse the courier delivery and force it back to ebuyer to get my refund.
It's less than ideal. They have adjusted their delivery estimate approximately 5 times and I'm sick to death of them.
I have no idea when the items will arrive but you can bet if it hits 28 days I'm contacting Egg.
A very poor excuse at the moment is "we have moved premises and the warehouses are in disarray". Sorry, but you should warn you r customers BEFORE they order Ebuyer and give realistic estimates for delivery.
I've used them many times before and agree that when they work, they are great, when they fail, they fail big time and you have little chance of contacting them.
As an aside if teh 045 nuber is not working for you try this one :
0114 2016966 it MAY just not connect at all but I've got through more times and quicker usng the direct dial number.
Good luck you unlucky Ebuyer customers, you have my sympathy.
BTW The guy I spoke to last said "I'd give it a miss using us until at least mid October when hopefully we will be back to normal", you have been warned.0 -
Ebuyer have always been great to me. I have bought loads of stuff and only ever had 3 problems with the products - each time they have helped set up an RMA and the latest time even arranged collection from my house (free of charge). The enotes system isn't ideal for the customer I guess, but as long as everything gets sorted out in the end, it is not a problem to me!0

I no longer deal with Ebuyer, as I think thier E-Notes system is crap. YEs when it works its fine, but when its not crap and you are left frustrated. I used to have all thier directors numbers etc, after doing a bit of um research! But never had to resort to hassling them as I eventyually got an answer to my E-Note and the issue resolved. But I will not deal with them again.
On a side note if your buying a print cartridge try this company http://www.cartridgesave.co.uk, I have used them a few times and am happy with them (even when there was a problem with my order).Nuff Said...........

Ordered 7 items from E Buyer on Wednesday, paying for next day delivery. One item arrived, the rest are still "being picked". My son leaves for uni today and wanted to take the goods with him. Have sent a e note but they have replied saying they will reply in 7 days due a backlog! However, have used them before and they have been great.0

I personally believe that there is to much competition around to put up with bad service (I vote with my feet). Once they get hit in thier pocket, they will change thier system and create something suitable for us the consumer.
N.B. Because they were good yesterday, does not mean we should support them today. This is not a little high street shop that you can make allowances for! They make millions!!!!!Nuff Said...........
