Thanks pigpen you are right! I could not understand why it would be on my mind so long after the event but it was starting to stress me and I just had to offload onto someone!
Feeling a bit silly now but at least it helped! :TIAAR/IAAMM/MFTMFAQ/IOA6BH0 -
Hey all, not been around much this week. Been busy at work & just generally feeling lethargic.
Not read thru the thread but read pigpens news. Hugs to you & hubby pigpen.
Mums dog had her results back today, it wasn't cancer thankfully, just an infection probably caused by an insect bite. It's all clear now & mum and dog and happy again.

Hugs PP for your entire family. Could there still be a chance that your sister gets the all clear? I hope that is the case. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

pigpen, what a bag of mixed fortunes you have been sent. With the little one, great to hear baby is doing well, fingers crossed they find it's not cervical cancer but as you have already said, they'll get the chance to have the little treasure they have longed for, weird how things work. Sending big hugs for your hubby too, as you have so perfectly put (as always) having the pleasure of knowing someone and sharing their life is what we should hold on to x
witchypoo thay haven't noticed, don't dwell on it honey.
raph great news about the pooch!
Right just ordered DPs breakdown cover from AutoAid, then Monday we're off to his bank to cancel the additions plus part of his account (£14.50 a month and he only used his breakdown cover, so it'll save me £138 a year! ) then see if we can get them to reduce the interest rate on his loan, worth asking. I've paid all of the smaller debts off apart from 'his toy cards' which I refuse to touch, his loan and the car (which is at a tiny interest and we paid for gap insurance which would be a waste if we paid it off) I will get us back on track financially at some point!
Most recent assignment scores just come in, second one in a row that I have beaten DP atboth passed, phew!
One day I might be more organised...........

Right lunch eaten.
DS1 still in bed, reading, he really is not great and like me doesn't do being ill.
I need to go to invigilate in a short time but it will be an easy one and adds much needed cash to the pot.
Witchy Like the others say don't dwell. I never beleive 'grown up finances' should be disgussed in the presence of kids. I think they should definitely know the cost of things and that sometimes there is no money for things but past that it is none of their business even if it is 'their' money. You know you are making the best decision for them. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Pigpen, I obviously missed something but I think congrats is in order, a new long awaited baby, how special, but how sad with the circumstances of the cancer. Life can be so strange sometimes, and sending lots of lovely baby vibes your way...
I have had a horrible morning at the hospital with DD. It was a new junior eye doctor we saw and she was patronising and told me to "sit" to which I replied, no thanks I will stand to which she insisted and told me to sit there or she wouldn't see my daughter, needless to say we got our trusted nurse who we have known for 14 years to intervene, me and DD were both in tears. Horrible cow.. her attitude was terrible, we have been going to that clinic for 14 years and she has just started with this huge mightier than though attitude, doesn't go down well with this mum, I did tell her a few things before I started crying with disbelief and anger and seeing my DD so upset..
Anyway, better go do some flying, or not. Hugs :grouphug: for all you lovely ladies0 -
