Well Tesco is done and I'm currently sitting with my poorly toe elevated by putting my foot up on the computer desk. Managed for once to get a space v. close to the door which was useful. Also found they had a lot of the stuff I buy on offer so I made good use of that - now have enough tissues to last until next winter I think....

DS pays £15 for a "smart style" - he's so vain. DH's I do myself with clippers, but I cut DS's myself till he was around 12 (no, I'm not trained), I always cut my Dad's (comb and scissors) and cut and permed my mother's until the last couple of years, due to lack of time and a good mobile hairdresser. I also always cut DD's until she was about 14. They've always looked OK, so can't have done a bad job. My hairdresser was a life saver. I had quite long hair (not 4') and had it cut a la Sharon Osborne. It looked OK, although I wasn't convinced it should be that short, then I went back for a trim and without a word, she took a razor to it! I freaked and never went back until I had a bit more hair, then I found Charlotte. She found that it wasn't even done straight and gradually coaxed some sort of style out of it, so now, 3 years later, it's almost as long as before. I'd recommend her to anyone.

    Thanks for hair comments.

DS1 I take to a barber - he has wavy, thick hair with a double crown. It is about £12 but they do a great job and it lasts well.

DS2 went from permantently saying he wanted it shorted - finally I said ok and he hated it (not as much as I did - it made him look like a right little s**t) so now he has it much longer - think I'll try the finge - do I cut across in a straightish line or do I sort of chop into it?

DS3 goes for a ragamuffin look so I guess I could try that too. If I don't go mad a hairdresser could always sort out any problems.

None of them like clippers and don't have that sort of style so no point in getting those really.

Bored of flying now - need to update my list to see if I have got anywhere today.

Well photos on facebook worked:j ,not completly sure how I did it but they are there. Have also download petrol mower pic from camera so can get that listed on Ebay too;) .

Off to collect DD1 from school, she has swimming tonight.

Not joining in the hair conversation as I hate mine at the moment. Not sure what to do with it as it just looks a mess unless I am going to work and then I spend half an hour straightening it - dont have that time spare on a school run morning. Maybe I should go for the chop 'cos if I dont like it your hair grows quicker in the summer, I think  .

Pigpen how did you get on with your when you went for the chop?

They wanted paying £75 to come and check the meters.. and I don't see why I should pay them to come and check their meters which I have to put up with in MY house!! .. plus I can't afford it.

Hmmm, arent they legally obliged to check the meters once a year?

SSL - I detect a distinctly aggressive tendency! :rotfl:

Hmmm, lol yes. Not sure whats wrong with me today. The prozac normally keeps me very chilled. I just seem to feel really angry on behalf of everyone else! Especially when it involves kids and its things that shouldn't have happened in the first place ;)
