Fingers crossed for Pink and her hairdresserI'd rather be watching CSI!0

Oh how exciting Pink - I'd love a fab hairdresser. Kids hair needs cutting but cheap, five quid a kid, guy keeps letting me down and I hate being messed about. Hairdressing shops are so costly - how much do you lot pay for boys haircuts? Yes I know I could do it myself and I just might be but at 12 he'll be really p****d if I do a bad job!
Right break from paperwork and on to flying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Have been naughty - didnt take DD2 to nursery. She didnt seem keen to go so we made cookies decorated with smarties. She has zonked out of the sofa so will let her have half an hour.
Currently trying to upload so pics to facebook - not sure if doing it right. Have changed my avator too.
Note to self - eating 4 cookies and having a coffee is not a good lunch - its a sure way to make yourself feel sick!0 -
dusty.. I do my boys.. always have.. I got a set of clipper.. when tehy were little they had a 6 on top and a 4 everywhere else.. now they are bigger they get a 4 everywhere.. and DS1 (16) has a 2.. though he tried doing it himself the other month.. the guard fell off so he had a bald bit.. thankfully.. he left the rest of his hair on his head.. most would have just balded the remainder!!
I'm going to play at layers in DD1's hair next weekend!! .. there is a hairdresser at the end of the street if it is too horrific lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I still hate going to the hairdressers now - I wasn't allowed to have my hair cut at all until I was nearly 16 and it was over 4 feet long and very heavy - I still recall getting my hair wrapped round the metalwork polishing machine at school to this day, nearly scalping myself in the process.I'd rather be watching CSI!0

I know, it seems a bit low doesn't it. I've just checked and we pay £86 a month which is £258 a quarter. It only went up three months ago. We're with Scottish Power and live in a four bedroom semi. I use the washing machine at least once a day but hardly use the tumble dryer. Now you've got me thinking :rotfl: xx
I pay £45 gas and £55 electric per month, and usually end up with a gas credit that balances out the electric debit. DS is at home almost all the time, so when it's really cold the heating could be on all day. There are 4 of us, with a 3 bed main house and a single storey 2 bed, plus shower room, plus sunlounge extension. And we use the cooker every day, so I suppose we aren't doing too badly, after all.:rotfl:

SSL - join the queue, although I'm thinking of forming a hit squad! Def Mental Health Issues (both her an OH), so I'm not totally unsympathetic, but if she won't help herself, I can't help her.
Taurus - hugs and great sympathy for both you and DD. How dare the tutor undermine her confidence in that way? It's their incompetence that's led to this situation. I don't know what to suggest, other than Year Head and beyond, LEA (Although ours is proving useless) and maybe your local MP, Press etcDMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419
