    Morning all

I'm another one who's been MIA - sorry!

Just been crazy busy here this week. Poor DS was really poorly last week so didn't have any free time last week but is much better now so its a case of catching up with everything I missed doing. Also tried putting DS in a new rountine which has been a been a big mistake so today we are back to the old way.

Still sticking to my own list as I never get the fly list done!

Have a good day, hugs to those in need!!! Xx

Right back from school run. Feeling a bit "pee'd off". Saw a woman from across the road with her 2 kids on way, as we passed them I said "Good Morning", I got a look from her over her right shoulder and nothing! It's ok for her to let her kids come over for an hour before tea but obviously I am below being spoken too  . I am far from a confident person and it takes me alot to make the first move so to speak but I am trying really hard not to let this knock me down - IYSWIM. She is the one with the problem no me (if I say it often enough I may believe it:D)

Right I am off to do the bathroom, kitchen, porch and hall. DD2 has happyland stuff set up in the lounge so will leave her playing with that;) .

Right will make a cuppa whilst doing the kitchen - anyone join me?

    Hello all,

Long time since ive posted and it looks like its going to be a bit sporadic. Things have gone a bit mad my end which has thrown everything up in the air. Cant remember when i last posted, but i have been reading and seeing how everyone else is doing.
So what's happened. Well my Great Aunt died on BH Mon  so that was a bit of a bummer, she had lukemia (sp?) and at the grand old age of 76 had done rather well. And then last Friday my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer :sad:. Fortunately due to her history (shes had 2 very rare types of cancer previously, one removing one of the biggest lumps on record 8" x 3" !!!!, one meaning they have had to remove her nose so she now has a magnetic prosthetic nose!!! and the fact she has pre-cancerous cells in her womb) they have kept a very good eye on her for anything and everything and have hopefully caught it very early on :T.

So tomorrow I have my mother in hospital for the results of the biopsy, followed by my G.Aunts funeral - what fun fun fun!!! Fortunatly my amazing BF has taken the day off work and is coming with me . I didnt even ask him too, he just announced he had taken the day off. Its going to be a fun day as there have been loads of arguments between my mum and her sister over the funeral arrangements (i.e. who is picking up their mother) which has not helped my mother stress levels or mine. My Aunt (well its not all her but her DH too) said they couldn't to pick Nan up, even though its a 30min detour for them, so could mum get her - its a 2hr journey for my who couldnt beacuse of the hospital appointment- or drop her back. So I was expected to (1.5hr detour, 2 seater car (remember the BF is coming with me) and a sports car at that - how nan was ever going to get in, let alone out without a winch! So that caused more arguments that my BF was coming and "he didnt even know my GA, so why did he have the right to come" at which point the phone was put down! So i can see are in for a great time of it tomorrow!!!!

Then i have a job interview on Monday - which i have to write a presentation for and learn stuff. And my friends are back off honeymoon and we still have to tidy their house (we have redecorated it for them in the past few weeks as a surprise present, all things they wanted to do but hadn't got the funds). So wish me luck for the next few days, mainly that im not in prison for murdering someone so cant make the interview, or in hospital from stress over the whole thing!

    Anyway enough of me
Michelle and Johanne - I hope your enjoying you LO's

Not enough washing for a load today - lucky really because it's raining and cold.

Tidied round downstairs, S&Sd the kitchen and gave the bathroom/toilet a good clean and washed the floors.

Probably going to the mall later, not really the weather for much else.

    Morning all.

DD off school today - just a temperature and a bit of a cold but I know if I sent her I would only get a phone call to pick her up and I have no car today.

    To do today

    Clean hamsters out
    Ironing
    Baking
    Scrapbooking

DD will just have to help.
    Catch you later

Oh Aimee, sending you hugs sweetie.

Sorry to hear about your G.Aunt and your Mum. Why is it when things like this happen instead of pulling together some people decide to make life so difficult. Totally out of order your aunt expecting your Mum or you to collect your Nan. I really just dont understand some peoples logic (or lack of it).

Your fella sounds like a good bloke, very considerate. With everything you have going on at the moment I'm pleased you have someone there for you.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow and hope it all goes as well as these things can. Fingers crossed for the interview on Monday too.

    Take care Shell x

    Morning flyladies

Big hugs to everyone, sounds like we need them this morning xx

pink fairy - what is wrong with GF's mother? She sounds a right one. I'm not usually one for violence, but I feel like slapping her one!

    soappie - owwwwww!

nicki - 7 year olds do SATs?

shell - she's probably a right moody moo and you are so much better than her. Again, another one thats needs a slap. I need to have a shower and then I'll join you in a HHC.

aimee - sorry to hear about GA. What on earth is your aunt on? Again, slaps all round (whats wrong with me today???) Sorry to hear about your Mum as well, but fingers crossed they've caught it in time.

Right, time for my shower and then I'll be back to do a couple of HHC.

Healing thoughts for soappies toe, know how much that hurts!
PinkFairy, no, I think you are right and many would agree with you. A friend of mine has a son with Down's and another with Autism, she many times said she wishes her son with Autism had a disability you could see because her son with Down's is treated with so much more patience etc because it is more visable.
Aimee big hugs going to you and your family, what a time of it honey. I am guessing you and the BF are getting on better (I think last post you had split up)

Must go, got to go do post etc at DPs Dad's house..............hopefully back later as I must get some studying done!
One day I might be more organised...........
