OK I give up, got hardly anything done today.

Tidied kitchen, made dinner, lifted empty bottle from bathroom and not a lot else, oh sorry cleaned the yard.

I though after a few good days I was ok but guess not. My two friends have been telling me all week I have been doing to much and am now suffering. Will be do nothing tomorrow either as going out for day, oh well Friday is another day lol

Hope everyone else has had a productive day :rotfl:

Off list today, as I had time to do the master bedroom but not the bathroom, I'll leave that for tomorrow. I just have to finish drying the quilt cover and pillowcases.

Busy day, and after yesterday going so well, today was an uphill struggle. Why do so many young people think it is cool to be rude? I pointed out to one little madam that I didn't like the way she spoke to me, and also pointed out when she told me to go away and leave her alone, that actually, she was supposed to do what I said, not the other way around...I'm continuing to be completely unreasonable, as you can see.

I had a call from the agency today, to say that they'd rung round the schools I've been working at to see if any would need a part time French teacher next September, and one does - so I have an interview on Tuesday. Not 100% sure that I want to have it, but I'll go to the interview anyway. I don't have to take it on a permanent basis, so if the perfect one comes up, I can still go for it.

shell - my children are offering to send your DD contact details for NSPCC and Social Services as you're obviously as cruel and totally uncaring as I am.:D Let's start a club. Me, you and pigpen to start with!

Do you think that flylady has a particular attraction for teachers? I think it may be the lists and different levels?!! Welcome to newbies!

mudbath - your friend is way out of line. I have told my children and their teachers that the SATS are a complete waste of time, and won't tell me anything about my child that I don't already know from other sources. I also didn't pay for tutoring for my three to get through the 11plus, either. I don't think that the SATS say anything about a teacher's ability either,as they really only tell you that a particular teacher or school are good at preparing children for tests - which is not that useful a skill, as very few of us need to do it once we quit education. Rant over. Subject I can get quite heated about.

must go do washing up...and wonder again why I didn't fit a dishwasher...

    Hi Doe,

If you search the forum you will find a lot of posts about Stardops - I've been converted since reading them!!

Its a multi function cleaner which is really cheap - anything from 60p - 80p depending on where you buy it. All the big supermarkets sell it and Wilko and such like, it is usually on a lower shelf and in a bottle a bit like the Fairy bottle and is a yellowy/orange colour - HTH :D
