    Hi

Here's what i have managed today.

I had a bit of a nightmare earlier. Ds1 who is 11 went out after school on his bike. He phoned me at 4pm to ask if he could go to the town on his bike which is 1 and a half miles away, with his step brother who is also 11 and a friend. I said no way the roads are too dangerous and the back roads are a bit dodgy. All was well until i phoned him at 5.20 to tell him to come home for tea. He didn't answer his phone so i called OH to see if they were at his house. He said no they've gone to the next village (which is 2 miles away and even more dangerous.) Because i said no about going to the town they asked OH about going to the village and he said yes.

I phoned Ds1 back and he answered and i told him to come home NOW. By 6.15 they still weren't back so i phoned again and his battery died. I sent OH out ( after giving him a rollocking for not asking me) and they came back just after 7. I'm not sure who i'm more cross at Ds1 for not asking me or OH for not checking with me. I'm still fuming now. I think they're still a bit young to be going off so far away on their own.

    Evening all

    I'm not happy! I didn't h
ave much time last night to post. DS called me at work yesterday during his on-line lesson to say his tutor had just asked him if he was ready for his exam next Monday. This would be the exam that no-one has told him about, would it? The one that his mentors (who never contact him other than at reviews - 2 months since the last one) should hav etold him about? The one for which he should have extra time, private room and a scribe if required?

DH is off on Monday, which just happens to be when DS's next review is scheduled for, so he will come with us and I think he might ask the LEA rep (2nd mentor) what she knows about communication skills! I got straight on the phone to our Assembly Member's office to let him know, as he wants to be kept informed. I asked his assistant to pass on the message and also to ask him if Torfaen LEA was exempt from complying with the Government's NEET policy and also to ask if they have an Anti-Discrimination Policy?

I hope everyone has had a reasonable day and been as lucky as us here. Our weather has been nice again, so the bedding's had a good blow. I haven't put it on my list, but I've also done half an hour in the garden three days running! I've weeded, planted, green fly sprayed my Rosa Rugosa hedge, watered and done the "dog doo clean up hop".

:hello: to all newbies. :smileyheato our new flybabies. :grouphug:to anyone who would like one.
Raph - any news on the dog yet?

Off to make some bracelets now, so good night all and sleep well.

    Evening everyone,

Day three of flying is going well, I am finding I am getting round things without moaning out loud to myself about how unfair it is that I have to do all the cleaning as much lol. Had a quiet day just pottering round doing my list, I needed it after this morning. One of my cats broght a slug in and I narrowly missed stepping on it on my way to the bathroom this morning  . Bloomin cats, any hoo

((big hug)) for those who I know will be dissapointed with tonights football result.
PinkFairy, ca understand why you are so angry, hope your shouting is listened to, that's absolutely ridiculous.

I always forget to watch 'It pays to watch' because I am useless :rotfl: well actually tonight DP had took over the TV for football so I missed that and the Apprentice apart from the end, pleased she's gone!

Well DS1 lasted an hour or so then woke up sweaty wanting feeding, got him fed, was 8.45pm by the time he finished his food so went and got a takeaway, YES! I won!! :D I've fancied chinese for ages, something I am not very good at making. I've got a RM cheesecake defrosting for desert just to make me completely break the diet :rotfl:

Anyone heard from JillD? Wonder if she's ok, more and more flyladies keep going missing in action :( I do worry if they are ok.
One day I might be more organised...........
