Evening all
Ashbart – hugs –
Welcome Dougie
Boddy – hugs to your friend – that’s scarey!
Likkleg –a couple of years ago, when my DS and now DiL announced they were getting married in 7 weeks time in the cupboard which is the registry office in town, it took me three days to convince them to have a bit of a better bash than that, two days to firm it all with her parents and then 6 weeks only to get on with the organising of it (and I was working away from home 5 days a week at the time) . I did mock up invitations in word on the computer (using colours themed with her idea for bridesmaid’s dresses) one for the day (33) and one for the evening bit (100), got them to agree it, bought some nice card from Staples, printed off a load and then hand wrote the names in. They were all sent out 5 weeks beforehand. They looked really nice and individual and not at all like shop bought ones.
Thanks SSL for the info on our driving licence numbers – I did know that in the back of my mind. It was quite amusing to see the developer’s face this morning when I told him about the NI dl numbers.
Doe – slow down!
Heavy day at work today and I'm quite pooped. But, I'm working from home tomorrow so I can have a lie in and  ORF ops can stand down till Friday:cool:
It's been quite glorious weather all day but in the last half hour, it looks like it's brewing up for a storm.
Still, I'd better go and do some flying and some packing for holsI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Tia - I bought them too - only problem is I need to remember to take them!!!!
Think I'll have to get Pigpen to add 'take vitamins' to the list!!!!:rotfl: Saying that, I have been taking my iron more regularly and did feel a bit better this time.
GNB - think lactose intolerance can cause diahorrea (sp).
Off to change DD2's dirty bum and bath her.0 -
I got the grass cut again, back and front and edged it and swept up. It wasn't all that long but with rain forecast from tomorrow I thought it would be better.
We went out this afternoon to a lavender farm and I bought an unusual one called Christiana. It doesn't smell like normal lavender but it's got pretty feathery leaves. I've put it in a pot because it is tender so I will be able to put it in a sheltered spot next winter. And I treated myself to some lavender soap and a lavender bag. I love lavender.
Got home to an electric bill which is going up to £41 a month..... could be worse.
I haven't used my cooker yet but I expect I'll have to later this evening. I hinted for takeaway (the last time I had takeaway was last May when we were on holiday), but DH pretended not to hear.0 -
Pollybear I've been hinting for one too, good luck, however we've had a few in the last year. I just really fancy one and don't want to cook. Having a 'can't be bothered' afternoon/evening. DS1s gone to sleep (he sometimes does this catching up I think as his usual sleeping at night is poor) DS2 didn't want to go to football (so didn't have to wake DS1 to take him) and I could just doze off myself....One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all,
(((((( hugs))))) to those who need or want them.
Just got dinner sorted and TBH I have not got the energy to do any flying tonight, I had planned to do Bathroom and my bedroom as did dinning room last night.
**moan** coming on
I'm sitting here all misrable and cant get myself motivated as had CSA re-evaluate DD's dads payment as he has a really good job and I'm struggling all my wages seem to be taken up by bills and food. They informed me today that my payment would not be increased but would stay at the £9.20 a month that he already pays. This man earns over 50K a year    and doesnt seem to think that his DD having clothes on her back and shoes on her feet are essential, by buying her these things I am spoiling her.:rotfl: :rotfl:
Well off to s&s kitchen see if this inspires me to do my room and bathroom.GC: £400/ £00 -

I did make her promise to txt me each day. lil_me No it wasnt Chester Le Street. Tomorrow will be my flying day to catch up on everything.
doelani Hope you feel better soon.
nicki Hope everything goes well with your ex tonight.
Right HHI coming up.0 -
Ah just wondered boddy as there was police all over this way on last night, someone said there was a car found and they were looking for whoever was in it. Got a bit of a shock coming home to a village full of policemen! Fingers crossed your friend is ok, must be awfully scary. I've had a scary ex once who stalked me for over a year after we spilt, it was horrible, but he never did anything like that.
Well I just phoned g&e company, gas is fine PHEW! we've done well keeping our usage down, but electric, ****, £125 outstanding after the DD payments, we're using £20 electric a week! OMG! DD increased, think I will try to just pay off the outstanding bit next month, I will be following everyone round switching things off.
Good news however which has made me stop thinking about it as much is I've found 2 of my cousins on Facebook who I haven't seen in a long time
Johanne, great news, but that doesn't give you an excuse to overdo it!One day I might be more organised...........
