Catowen, is there an on-line live help for your internet provider?
when I've had problems with my AOL connection, I usually try the on-line help as I hate having to pay the 0870 prices.

    hey gang.

ive just noticed that GR has not been around for a while. ive had a quick look through her last few posts, and cant find anything to suggest she's gone on hols, taking a break etc. i dont want to PM her, because if ive noticed then she's probably already had a million and one PMs from other people who miss her too  dont want to overload the poor gal!

does anyone know if her and the ribbon men are ok? if anyone is in contact with her in the 'real world' can you please pass on my regards xx

    Evening all :hello:

Not really expecting anybody to be reading at this hour on a Sunday, but thought I'd pop in anyway :D

Pen-Pin - is it King's you're going into? Let me know, and I'll come visit (if you'll have me :D) Actually, same goes for any hosp within reach :) ((Hugs))

Been out all day and am knackered - fortunately got a lift home after choir concert this evening so didn't have to battle with public transport. Did a fruit loaf in the BM for choir buffet tea - just sliced it up and buttered it last night, wrapped in foil and stuck it in a carrier bag with 2 ice packs, and it survived 9 hours on a very warm day including a trip on the tube... and was VERY popular at teatime!

Must be off to bed soon. I can't believe the weekend is already over - I've barely stopped for breath.

    ((hugs)) to all in need.

    Love Rzl xx

P.S. pavlov's dog - Penelope Penguin is in touch with Gingham off line and has confirmed that she's fine and is just taking a break :)

    Catowen - wow - :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T - well done for the weight loss - don't overdo it though.

CM - it wasn't too hard actually as it's so blooming hot that the butter had pretty much melted anyway. you can see the results on my fledgling blog - http://stefejb.blogspot.com/ - :o I'm embarassed about showing it as there are some wonderful bloggers here but it will be good for my mostly-abroad family to see what we're up to.

Dgs has gone home with a box of HM goodies for his Mum and dd(11) has gone to bed as it's the start of the dreaded SATs tomorrow - and she's excited :confused::confused:

I posted earlier about my 18yo dd but it seems to have got eaten so if I'm repeating myself then ignore. Anyway she is scared of ....... stickers. To her they are revolting and contamnate everything they touch. She threw up in the street once because I took the sticker off an apple and then ate it. Her poor son can't have stickers at home because she would get really upset and feel that he had become contaminated. It means that we have to be really careful when we buy him art sets or comics to make sure that they haven't any in. I don't know how she managed with nappies but she says it's different because they don't start peeling off and that's what gets to her, a peeling dirty edge. If she read this she would be crying at the number of times I have mentioned the word. Neither of us can remember any childhood sticker related trauma though. she doesn't like plasters either - she has managed to put one on her son but then replaced it every couple of hours so it wouldn't get dirty. Beleive me she is not clean-obsessed in any other way - weird. i on the other had have only rational fears like sp****s and polystyrene.
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
