Hey all....
I've been a very naughty mse-er, well more like lack of mse-ing. I fell off the bandwagon and need to crawl back on. Im hoping that the fact that I actually has survived payday bills with cash left over ( a miracle ) will help me in my quest.... God I sound like a prat.
Does anyone else find that being mse isn't just about moneymanagement, but about time family and (okay not in my home) cleaning management. I've having a random day, just ignore me.
Anyway, I've decided to approach mse as a newbie, coz I basically am, and hopefully, well, I think you get it now.
Loves and hugs to all in need!!!!!When life gives you lemons......Grab a bottle of tequila and call me over!

redruby - :rotfl: at your frog story! clawed thumbs??? are you sure its not a lobster!?! I've got a frog that sits in and around our water feature - I do like him though, especially when he's floating around on the plastic lilly pad ive got in there! BUT he's NOT eaten all my snails!! agree its when they jump thats the frightening bit!
Do frogs change colour??? mine looks green, but the other day it was brown? so not sure if its one or two frogs in there!:rotfl:
I am not sure if they change colour, todays frog was a sort of yellowey green, a bit like sick
, although I really did not stick around to have a good look, I made OH have a good look round before I went out there

Evening everyone
Back from the caravanning weekend, and the weather could not have been better, however, on Wednesday I thought I had a golf ball in my throat, but no other symptoms, but my chest decided to tighten up on Friday evening, so it is very quiet here as I do not have a voice as such atm, together with not at awful lot of energy. Luckily my kind caravanning friend took over cooking duties (with the guys bbqing) so we had a nice weekend, even if I slept a fair bit of it. Taking some medicine, so within a day or two normal volume will be back (get your earplugs ready!).
Sorry catowen I didn't spot your post, I think the thread is getting quite long now that we (well me anyway) often skim read and miss things (I've just read Fri/Sat/Sun). Maybe we need a "I Need a Hug" heading to help us not miss anything. Glad you have picked up a couple of kids, and hope you are feeling better.
Jayward - sorry to hear you have been in hospital, you didn't look like you needed to lose weight when we met, me now - about time I got my head in gear. Know what you mean about DS's mine called at the caravan with his GF for a BBQ on Friday (yes once again picked a weekend I was not there to head home) and I got a text later to say he had got to our house OK, and it was lovely to see us - Interpreted to read having food cooked and provided was brill) He then held a BBQ for his mates on Saturday night at our house, but they are a good group and wasn't worried.
Beethebee - I agree with whoever said ring and nag, make friends with the secretary if you can and don't be shy about saying why. Sorry to hear you have to have the ops though.
Pen-Pin sorry to hear you have to go in and stay, on top of your normal visits, I hope DH knows everything though!
Pen-Pen Hope the chicks are OK, not had chance to speak since I got back.
((((hugs)))))) to everyone else as well as the above, and sorry if I missed anyone.
Take care

Hello again,
Thank you everyone, sorry for having a moan - i feel a bit guilty now, as my problems are nothing compared to a lot of people, mustve been having a glass half empty moment, when normally im a glass half full gal!!!
Anyway, good news tonight, when i had my weekly weigh in, i had lost 4 lb!!! im so chuffed, after not losing anything last week at least i know im not wasting my time being good and not snacking and eating lots of crisps and chocolate!!
Ive been and planted out my sweetcorn, and some of the runner beans (some are in pots in the kitchen, going to see if the slugs get the ones in the garden, if they dont brilliant, if they do then at least i will have some ive started off indoors to try). Bathroom and toilets cleaned, including the floors and ive hoovered all downstairs. Also made roast beef for dinner, and both my children ate all their veg - HURRAH!!!
Shez - still struggling with the wireless, have posted on the techie board, but nothing to helpful yet, but hopefully we will get there - a huge thank you for your help earlier tho!!!
PP - dont really know what to say, except im thinking of you, your OH and DD - i know it will be hard for you (are you allowed a laptop or anything in the hospital?)and you are being so brave (and thats not sympathy, but with all your normal trips as well as this, i think you are!) but hopefully it will soon be over and you will be home ASAP xxx
Crazychik - how is dlb? shes not posted for a while!!?? well done on getting a better price for your car!!!
kyle - i think i know exactly how you feel, i think i got myself into a state as it often feels like everyone needs to mention everyone else, and i worry about missing someone, and then i got my knickers in a twist when i didnt get a mention!!! silly really - donny gal - i think your suggestion is a really good one, im just going to carry on posting my drivel, and i will put a title if i need a mention - so if i dont put a title, then nobody need mention me (unless they really want to!!)
I think that way, i wont feel that i need to mention anyone, but if i spot someone who needs a hug or mention (from their title) i will feel happy to send a mention, knowing ive not missed anyone.
Anyway, i know ive missed loads of people out so ((HUGS)) to anyone who needs one or just wants one xxxxxxxxx
Have a lovely evening
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Good evening all! Good Morning Aussie, how's the head?:rotfl: :rotfl:
I had a good day, it was the Church's anniversary Anniebooklover, not mine:D (thanks for the good wishes Sunnyday and lyndseyann, I didn't make that clear:o Mr CM and I were married in cold October;) )
kyle, you'll be missed, come back soon:kisses3: Just make sure twink keeps us in touch with how things are going for you;)
Shez, it was a plant sale, not a bazaar:D Went very well, but very hard work.
redruby, I get frogs in my garden, although I don't know of anyone close by with a pond. I like them, but they still make me jump when they do. Jump that is:rotfl:
Got a small pile of ironing to do, that I've put off for a couple of days so it's growingIt's still a bit hot to start it, but I need some gym trousers ironed so I'll have to bite the bullet in a minute.
I had a Mother's Day card for today. DS1 in Canada can't get his act together for our Mothering Sunday, I have to celebrate all on my own for this one. I didn't realise Australia celebrates the same day as the North American continent.
PennyPincher, everyone on the ward will be in the same boat, so I'm sure you'll get lots of support and chat from the other patients:D Not the same as having DH, I know, but I'm sure there will be nice people there. The nurses will be busy, but they won't leave you to struggle, honestly. They'll be perfectly happy to wheel your chair. I speak with a lot of inside knowledge;)
stefejb, fancy having to do it the old-fashioned way:rotfl: Do you now have muscles like Popeye?:D
Tired mum, just seen the revised link! Congrats to your daughter! Isn't she lovely:D Totally irrelevant, but she is!
Take care, CM x
How did that exclamation get in the title box, I never put it there!!!!And now I can't get rid of it:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
im off to bed now, just wanted to say Kyle, don't stay away too long xx
Night all x0
