Hi all,
just a quickie from me. I have been busy in the gardens as past few days so haven't been on much. I'm making the most of the sun as we seem to have a shortage of it over here
Hope everyone is ok. (((hugs))) to all who need them.
See you all tomorrow

Morning,
No hangover whatsoever.Think I'll just stick to one glass of that particular wine in future. It packs a punch. I was sound asleep by 8pm  and woke at 8am.
Didn't even hear DH get up for work. Lovely sunny day here and I have a long *to do* list which includes a batch of beetroot relish. Off to have a quick scoot around the site and then I better start my day. Hope you all have a great nights sleep.

Oh I don't look much like that in real life - I hate having my picture taken and don't really have any of me so dd cropped that one from a group picture and beggared about with it a bit - well a lot actually - shame she can't do it in real lifeI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Hi guys,
First offTo pen-pin and all others in need at this time.
I just wanted to say that no matter how bad I feel there is always a post on here that makes me smile and others that remind me that we all have our problems and all that we can do is the best we can to cope. I am so glad to be part of the 'OS FAMILY'.
I haven't done much this weekend, the house is tidy, washing done and dried on the line - well mostly - I have to have at least 10 mins. in the TD to soften it up when dry, I haven't ironed except for the uniforms. I have made a rice pudding today which went down a storm and also cooked real food for the LO's.
Last night was the first restful sleep I have had in a long time, I actually woke up refreshed and feeling a lot more positive, however DS2 is asking the same questions over and over again about why is dady an angel? and did the angels make him better? and he has hurt his head will the angels come to make him better? can he come back? why did the angels have to make him better? but over and over again. I think that he is trying to understand but at 3 and a half he just hasn't the grasp. I tell him that Daddy was too ill to get better without help from the angels but that help meant that he had to go and live with them but he was always going to be looking after him and loves him very much. DS1 keeps telling him to shut up and is getting upset with it. He asks the odd question at times and then says OK. and that's it. I suppose this onslaught from DS2 is upsetting for him. Oh well it will all come out in the wash.
Anyway, plans for this week are to do some more spring cleaning and an on-line shop, and think ahead about some driving lessons so that I am not so tied here. Oh yes, maybe I should tackle the ironing too.
I am going to take piccies of both gardens too ready for the transformations over the next few months, I will post these when I get around to it.
Take care all,

Are we related?:rotfl: :rotfl: In the old days of 35mm film cameras, we could come back from holidays having shot 3 or more reels of film and there would be 1 of me;) I'm never relaxed enough to take a good photo, and now I'm too old and wrinkled to take a good one:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
smokybabe, how lovely of you to post.:D We all appreciate hearing how you're doing. I don't think there can be a single one of us that would swap our problems for yours. None of us on this thread are suffering in quite such a way as you and the little ones.
I suppose it's the difference in ages as well as personality that makes DS1 and DS2 cope in such different ways
Don't worry about the ironing, I've just ironed gym trousers and left the rest. If the ironing fairies are offended and want to finish the rest, they are more than welcome:D
Hugs to you and the children, take care, CM xxYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
You're very chatty tonight CM.
What have you been up to?
Smoky At age 3 they just wouldn't understand that much. You are doing great. You might find some books in the library for his age group that explain the leaving process a bit clearer for him and give him some answers to comfort him.
We love pictures. So can't wait to see them. If you don't feel like posting them, just send them to me and I will for you. Quite a few do that already.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
