...Have you had any problems with them re billing?...
The only problem I'm having with billing is that 18185 used to send an email notifying when the latest invoice is due. These have now stopped, and the amount due is just taken from my bank account. I've checked that they have my email address correct (they'd added an * in some email addresses as noticed by someone else earlier in this thread), checked spam filters etc, and advised 18185 of the lack of emails (with no reply). It doesn't really matter, but I'd prefer to receive the email notification. I know of someone else that this is happening to as well.0 -
Update: Found the number 0808 170 1818 which tells me I have an account and gives account no. I was then able to log on and confirm that my account had been set up correctly. Im still puzzled however as to why I haven't had the confirmation email. I checked my email address in the personal details and it doesn't have the * or hash that others on this thread have reported as being responsible for lack of email bills
Beware though, you will NOT be getting 5p connection and 0p per minute calls via the 08081703703 number - as you are a Virgin Media subscriber and have to use that instead of the 18185 prefix, the prices are different (e.g. calls to UK 01/02/02 numbers are 5p connection and 1p per minute).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Great news. Is there a facility to update your email address online?Beware though, you will NOT be getting 5p connection and 0p per minute calls via the 08081703703 number - as you are a Virgin Media subscriber and have to use that instead of the 18185 prefix, the prices are different (e.g. calls to UK 01/02/02 numbers are 5p connection and 1p per minute).Awaiting a new sig0

I'm sure they used to have an email contact or a contact form... now all I can see on http://www.18185.co.uk/contact.php is a link to FAQ and even if you read these, no way to actually mail them. So what do you do if invoice seems wrong?0

After clicking on "contact" and then the link for "Customer Service", if you select the option "report a fault" it asks you for your account number and email address, after completing this, you're then given the option of what problem you want to report. You might be lucky and get a reply - but then again, you might not.

I cannot find anywhere you can contact customer services. I always send text messages to a mobile in Dubai but tried today & they wont send. In the box at bottom r/h corner the letters NaN appear as soon as I start typing the text. Anyone got any ideas what this means? Thanks0

What is the quality like with 18185? Going to be switching back to BT soon, but their mobile costs are really expensive.0
