I think that customer services are as random in their responses as Boots pricing policy is from store to store! After the help you lovely ladies have given to me this afternoon re Time Delay/Till spits, I tried ringing customer services. using the advice and previous experiences on here, and was offered 600 points as compensation. I emphasised that I'd spent money I wouldn't otherwise have done, and now missed out on £40 of free goods, but couldn't manage to get the 4000 points plus 1000 for my trouble that Broclo managed. . I suppose they had no proof that I actually had 8 till spits but I would still have liked more than 600 points. Oh well, better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick I suppose.
Maybe it's better to e-mail rate than phone - although again I suppose that must depend who reads your e-mail. I just thought phoning might resolve things quicker. I don't want to get into the habit of moaning about things, but I do feel rather aggrieved - and the sun isn't even shining to cheer me up.
Thanks anyway, Ladies, I appreciate you all taking the time to post and help me out - you're fab!:A
Yes, but you can also now take your till spits back to your local Boots and when the SA refuses to even try scanning them against the hand cream you can stand your ground, ask to see the manageress and tell him/her you've confirmed with CS that the hand cream is part of the offer. Be polite but be very, very firm about this. The rest of the country is staggering home with sacks of this stuff free at the moment...I've got 13 tubes, for example. They are wrong, it's as simple as that. And all they need to do is wave the voucher under the scanner to confirm this.Val.0 -

Would be a good plan if it wasn't for the fact that it wasn't my local Boots! None to be had at any of my local Boots - this was a store I won't get chance to go back to. But I agree that otherwise I would be able to redeem them easily on a return trip now that I've spoken to CS. You'll have lovely soft hands when you've used your 13 tubes - a very impressive haul, well done! Thanks again everyone.0 -
Just found a decent buy on .com if you buy Gillette Fusion Razor blades.
It's £14.99 for 8 of these or £7.99 for 4 but you can buy the actual Fusion Razor which includes 6 blades for £7.99!
HTH someone

clare can't get in before tues unfortunately
Is there nobody local you can send these to and then meet up later with?
I managed to offload some of my vouchers on a friend who has managed to get me some wipes and handcream with them. I've still got 3 left and may try to redeem them if I do end up get to the shops at the weekend. ( I should have given more vouchers to my friend but I didn't know if she would have any better luck than me). Your offers and suggestions were really kind and much appreciated everyone - perhaps next time I won't get sucked in by the whole till-spit thing, but spend-£5-get£5 is my favourite one - you can't beat it - if you can actually find the stuff to get!
Have a good weekend.0
