For anyone in the North West the store has loads of the no7 tan wipes for 50p which can be used with the 200 points mag voucher. Lovely SA said she would try it wasn't sure if it would work, it did. Went back to get more but SA had gone on her break and the other SA refused to even try saying it couldn't be used on reduced items, she even took me to no7 lady who confirmed this. Will try again tomorrow.

    hi
I wonder if someone can give me some advice on suncream. ds1 had fairly mild excema when he was a baby (couldn't use baby wipes etc) but has more or less outgrown it. I used to use banana boat suncream as it didn't have a certain ingredient in it likely to cause excema (trouble is I can't remember what it was) but stopped as excema seemed to be OK. for the last couple of years he has started getting really red puffy cheeks and I have just twigged that it could be the suncream. Does anyone have any suggestions of a suncream less likely to cause an allergic reaction?
Of course anything I try will be bought from Boots:D

I have a scratchy/itchy/sensitive little man and after the expense of trying 6 different lotions last year i found nivea baby 50 was okay, still got slight redness but nothing compared to the others and i just applied it sparingly, but enough to be effective. However this year he has become very sensitive towards it so I asked GP/HV for advice, both recommended this company https://www.greenpeople.co.uk/organic-sun-products.aspx they only do a childrens upto factor 25 but doc said that was actually enough as long as it is applied religiously every few hours. The postage is £2.50 and they do fragrancee free version to which is 150ml for £13.50 or trial size 30ml for £3.50. I ordered one for at home and one trial for on the move. Little fella has no recaction :)

Know it is not boots, but I have tried every brand from boots and all irritate my DS

I'm with you on the "getting jut a bit fed up with Boots" bit! Finally found a store with Time Delay Handcream in, and the S.A. wouldn't let me get it - "It's not facial" - wouldn't even try to scan the voucher (guess this explains why they had them left the shelf!) I had several to redeem and I know from you lot on here ( and from flashes on the SELs in other stores: "redeem your voucher on this product" ) that you can get handcream with the vouchers. Fuming. Won't get chance to spend the tillspits now - and bought stuff I didn't need in order to get them. So I guess "getting a bit fed up" doesn't actually quite cover it!

Clare call the Glos store & ask for Laura on shop floor beauty. Mention this to her & see if they have any instock they can hold for you. If you can't get in post the spits to me & I'll collect for you.
Maybe even call the store who declined you & complain. Manager may do something for you. I can scan/mail reciepts if it helps to show that TD handcream is ok for the spit!

Well, all four of my most local Boots have official little pre-printed signs up under the TD Hand Cream saying "You may redeem your voucher on this product".

If I were you I'd get onto CS at once, explain how mant till spits you've spent money to buy and name your local branch. CS are usually pretty good about this. If you can work your AC number into the email...I usually add something like "Here is my AC no so you can check my back purchases " and then hopefully they'll stick a few extra points on for you. Or whatever. But if you had say 5 till spits and could have exchanged them for five tubes of £5 hand cream, I'd be looking for 2500 points as compensation, really.
    Val.

Yeah, finally got TD hand cream today! They had loads in the Oracle in Reading; I got five (but still no face wipes, which is fine as I wanted hand cream).

They also had Voyager travel irons for £1.25 (near the suntan lotion and travel stuff); they were originally just under £13.

Sorry...forgot...postage free on first order :)

And they have a reward scheme "Example: If you make an order and spend, say £36.75 on products (delivery charges are not included) you will receive 36 points with a value of £1.80. This amount will be automatically deducted from your next order."
  • Yay found the 200 points coupon :)
