Just recieved my .com order impressed with delivery (only ordered wednesday afternoon) but not with contents.I ordered a perfume as a gift for my friends birthday which they packed at the bottom of the box -a couple of other items which are heavier were put on top so now I have a squashed perfume with cellophane peeling off which I can't give as a gift.I will have to send the order back.

Hi Sonee, I know the feeling well. My online order arrived recently, soaking wet from a leaking product. I rang CS within 5 mins of receiving it. Got an apology and a reminder that they would speak to the courier, and was told the same as you. Take it back to the store or return to dot.com. That was it!!

Personally I think CS may have had enough of people who make bogus or exaggerated claims, and are told to keep products (or whatever) and then sell the stuff on Ebay.

People like this spoil it for people like us, the genuine claims. I examined the rest of the products after my phone call and found other leaking products. I was really angry by then. I contacted CS on the appropriate form and have not heard a word since. Neither do I expect to. They can have my order back, and will select my orders with care from now on. A system that gets abused will always bite back eventually. The few can spoil it for the many It's very sad but true.

I went into boots today, to see if I had any new AC offers. I didn't have anything good, but DD did:D she had a voucher for a free med bath cream 75ml. You don't have to buy anything to get your freebie. Just hand over ACM voucher. I was so excited I went straight over to the med shelf...but the shelf was empty:mad: the voucher says 'valid today only', but I am going to try to use it in another store tomorrow.

I've used up the last of my 5.00 vouchers now. There was loads of TD hand cream, but not much of anything else. I think I have about 10 handcream and 10 body lotion + a few pks of wipes. Really glad I got to use all my vouchers up this time:D

The clearance shelf has vanished from the Luton branch:confused: does anyone know where they've moved it to?

What's happened to all the Luton bootsers? jemaclass and discountdiva, where are you two?

It has been done and it has been refused(as it should be as is not included)...so if you have your 'bolshy head' on when you go in, then it is worth a try! But it seems unlikely you will be succesful as it does not appear to go through till and seems to be down to SA over ridding the till :)

i feel really cheated i did not know that i could order more than one of the shower gels at the 34p. I feel quite upset that it was posted on hotdeals with a reference to me (:D) and i couldn't take advantage. It won't let me order on my OH account either.

Does anyone know why i can't use any promo codes on 2 seperate accounts?
I use card payment (electron) or paypal on both accounts but i can only use a code once on mine or his, i would have thought you could have used them twice ( one on each). Not that i am greedy lol
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

the way i over rode this was to add another email addy to paypal, then when i came to pay via paypal i'd use the secondary address to sign in.

But is it even letting you put the code in before paying?

You could always try cancel that order and then re do it?

Bummer that as the finder of the code you do not get max useage...had a play earlier and it lets you order upto 99 lol

I couldnt wait to get back to tell you all about this! They have installed about 4 SS tills since I was in yesterday. Just had to use them! There were a couple of "Boots hierarchy people and SAs I have never seen before helping you. I took ages as I was trying to split my lots into £5's and was (as usual) getting flustered. My first one came to £4.98 so no voucher there!! Forgot to scan fish 100 points with £1.65 reduced deodorant but SA added manually elsewhere. The £5 voucher def works with the hand cream, put 2 through no problems. The shelf even has one of the SEL saying use the £5 to buy this item.
I had a few reduced items and the SA said she had to put them through. Is this what you need to do? Can you not do them yourself? I buy a lot of clearance and dont want to be having to get help every time.
The £5 voucher looks very different from this till. I think it will be a great help with things SAs refuse to try that we know work!!!!!!
Cant wait until a good glitch now!

    Wee K

:T You have made my day!!! Im easy pleased aren't I!
