Wow, I had no idea you could buy things like this! Can you buy them in store using points? How do you do that?

    Hi skibster :)

I've seen things like the Horse Racing experience instore, as I was tempted to buy bro-in-law one for his big 5 0 but resisted ;)

Looking at the Orient Express thing, it's online only too, so that's no good to me either lol.

But they're all over the stores - well not all over lol, but in most stores I've been in :)

hth - got to dash x

According to the lovey No7 SA the next No7 GWP is a choice of male OR female & the male one is supposedly really nice.
All the info I could get as a sale approached the counter so I made haste & left her to strut commision alley.

the male gwp will only be available in stoes that stock the mens range

    morning

not much bootsing recently but i did find some td wipes. actually the shelf was bare but i turned around and nearly walked into one of their stock crates and i spotted a couple of packets in there so i nabbed 1.

repeating question from yesterday - anyone used the clinique shops @ airports?
  • I have really fine flyaway hair which is also dyed blonde (at hairdressers) and also straightened regularly. It tends to look greasy at the roots after just one day and my hairdresser said it could be to build up. Started to use the Pantene clarifying shampoo and it works wonders - can get 3 days without washing it (sounds gross but I do cub camps and can't wash and straighten in a tent!!!). Can also recommend the Expert Heat Protect spray (1/3 off at mo) as you spray this when styling rather than when just washed, so can be used on dry hair.

Another product I have used in the past when not able to wash it is the Batiste dry shampoo (about 1.99 in Boots) - was a bit sceptical at first, but it really does work and if you get the Tropical one, it smells of coconuts too. HTH.

The GWP battle when paying with points is one I only ever have when dealing with the No 7 women. On any other counter, it's never been an issue. I've had Lancome and Clarins GWPs many times with no hassles at all - in fact the lovely woman at Clarins usually chucks some testers in too!

I also clarified it with HO a long time ago and they said if I ever have any problems at the No 7 counter, to tell them to ring HO then and there. Oddly enough, the No 7 ladies have given in quietly (if begrudgingly) every time since then.

A male GWP will make a nice change. My daughter always ends up with the little fancy bags or boxes full of (carefully edited...she's six) mini products, and my 11 year old boy feels left out, plus he's just getting into "smellies"! So whatever it is I expect I'll go for one for him.
Mens time delay hitting the shelves ( under £5) ~ can't see any exclusions on the till spit to say ladies only !;)
(valk_scot I know not quite for your 11 year old but trying to follow male theme)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
