    hiya,

daft question but if you spot something for say £5.99 and use the £5 off till split and pay 99p do you still get another till split as the item was £5.99 or cos you have only paid 99p you dont get one?

    thanks in advance claire :)

The till spit does NOT count as cash so you wouldn't get one for the 99p spend. Spend another £4.01p & you will & trust me you'll consider it too :rotfl:

    Hi guys,

I would really appreciate some advice please- I recently placed an order on .com which was delivered while i was not at home.
The courier left a card through my door saying he'd left it in my garden but when i looked, there was no parcel there

I rang CS and they said they'll have to send me some kind of form to fill in, sign and send back 'cause it's a legal requirement and they can't offer a refund or replace the items till they receive the form.

This is the first time this has happened to me and i have no clue as to what the form is about and what has to be filled in, etc. So i was just hoping for some more info and advice on what to do.

I've never had to do this myself but I have a strong feeling they'll need to have a piece of paper with your signature on it to say you don't have the item, rather than just rely on a telephone call. Legal paper trail and all that. They've got books to keep after all. They can't just write off replacement items...the accountant folk don't like that sort of thing without paperwork. Every jar and bottle needs to be accounted for.

Also I don't think for one moment that they're doubting your word but if they have a note of your address, time of day you recieved the card and other details then they can relay this info back to the courier firm involved. Then if...IF there are other parcels going missing on the same delivery run, not just Boots ones, there might be a problem with the driver, no? It happens.

So just fill in the form. You're not at fault and have nothing to hide so don't worry about it. Can I just suggest though you check first with any friendly neighbours who might have taken the parcel into safekeeping for you?

    Thank you so much.

We live in an end of terrace house and there are alleys to the side and at the back of our house. So anyone passing could have seen the driver put the box in there or just seen the box there and taken it.
The oder arrived before the delivery date or I would have definitely been there to receive it.

I've got 6 £5 off vouchers that I was hoping to exchange today. No cheap things in stock at Woking. SA told me that if they have the Time Delay wipes in again before the 20th, they are likely to be reduced to £1 as that will be the sale price before they bring out the new packaging. We've been duped !
  • I have 2 TS to use up, so I went to my local Boots in Enfield all they had on display were 3 burst open(and very dried up)TD wipes:mad: I left with my TS to try again tomorrow:D
