Oh never seen then down here.Reminds me of when I was a kid used to go through the bins to get money back on lemonade bottles. Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

thought this would be an interesting one to bring back
Wasn't on the ground exactly but I found a pound coin in a trolley the other day and some coupons for TescoComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
I was just thinking about this thread earlier on today as I found 6p on the ground.
That brings August's total to £2.78 :j"By not unsettling men, you will reassure them. By unsettling men either through timidity or malice, you are always compelled to keep a knife in hand." - Niccolo Machiavelli, 1469-15270 -

Years back, my friends and I found a camera lying in a road. One friend decided to have the film developed and when he did there were pictures of some people in one of our pubs and we were all in the background. Very bizarre.Member 105 of 1% at a time - 23/100 :j0

I found a pair of lovely Calvin Klein sunglasses in the mud at Glastonbury last year. Gave them a good clean and they were in perfect condition - I wear them all the time!0

Well alas my finds pale into insignificance with some of the wonderful things you have all found!
I have to say I'm doing quite well at the moment with the red rubber bands left by the postman, but that's about it! I found 3 x 1ps last week and said the little rhyme, but my lottery numbers didn't come up! 1 penny I had to be particularly subtle about, but I had time whilst in the queue to work out my plan, and I was pleased with myself when I walked out of the shop!
Will keep my eye to the ground more often now in the hope of getting something big!!

We found a great umbrella fold buggy when ds2 was a baby. It was soaking wet and it hadn't rained for a couple of days so it had beeen there a while. I phoned the police to let them know and gave them my number in case anyone was looking - but noone ever came forward.
Ds1 is great at finding money in notes - about £50 so far“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
